They went to the lottery to see who was next. It was Joey and Marik. Joey was pumped to face Marik. Everyone went to watch the duel. Yugi held Lisa in her arms. "Hey Yugi, did Joey ever take back his red-eye black dragon card" Duke asked. "Nope he doesn't want it back until he can face me as a true duelist" Yugi said. The cold air hit Lisa's bare skin oh her arms making her shiver. Yugi have her his jacket. "You okay?" Yugi asked. "Yes, thank you" Lisa said back. Serenity looked nervous. Then everyone remembered this was her first time seeing Joey duel.

Joey had a look that he really hated Marik. He wouldn't stop shuffling Marik's deck until Roland said it was enough. Joey had a kind of fire in his eyes. Marik pulled out the Millenium rod. Joey said to fight fair and not use that on him. Marik said very well and put the rod away. Both players drew 5 cards. Joey went first. He sommon a monster known as gearfried the Iron Knight. It was actually a very common card. Lisa remembered when her father made that card. It was one of her favorites.

Joey thought he had the duel all figured out. Since Marik played mostly traps he had an idea. He played enough monsters to take down all of Marik's life points, but he didn't attack. Once he had enough monsters, he played Giant trunade. That was supposed to send all magic and trap cards back to the players hand. But it didn't work. It activated a trap called judgement of Anubis. The duel went on for some time.

There would be times where Joey seemed to get ahead. He even had a way to sommon every monster he won in battle city. But Marik played a monster that had no limit to it's strength. Yugi tuned into Yami and reminded Joey that this would help save the world. Yama even took over for Lisa and helped too. Soon all of Joey's monsters were destroyed. He still thought he would win. Then he said something that shocked everyone. "I've been thinking about how you fought me today, you don't seam like the guy who took over my brain. I think you're not Marik" everyone was is disbelief. But Yugi looked like he agreed with Joey. As Marik was about to make his final attack, something stopped him. He then played the third Egyptian god card. The winged Dragon of Ra.

Marik told Ra to attack but it didn't. Then, out of nowhere, lightning was surrounding the blimp. One hit Marik. Joey tried to get to him when he was struck. "Joey" Yugi yelled. Tristan tried to get on the ring but he was told to get down. Then Kaiba said that whoever gets up first will win, but if neither off them got up in 5 minutes they would both be disqualified.

Marik almost got up but fell right back down. Everyone was yelling at Joey to get up. Then all of the sudden he got to his feet. He didn't realize what was going on. But he was declared the winner.

Joey went to the man claiming to be Marik. Turned out he was a servent to the real Marik. He pointed to Namu, the real Marik. The real Marik freaked and admitted he was the truth. Then Marik start screaming. The servent, who's name was Odion, said he was afraid this would happen. Marik had a darker side to him. Marik let out a huge scream and his appearance changed.

His hair went more spiked and he had a distorted voice. "I'm finally free again." He said. "Who are you" Yugi asked as Yami. "I'm the true Marik and I'm not as kind as the one you knew" Marik said. They got Odion to the medical bay of the blimp. They started talking about how Odion was alone. That's when Joey realized how he got up. He had a dream that everyone helped him up.

Soon it was time to see who was dueling next. Lisa was rather tired. Yugi gave her his key card. "Get some rest. You need it" Yugi said. Lisa had already taken back over from Yama. "Why haven't you told yet?" Yama asked. "I want to wait until the tournament is done and he's done saving the world." Lisa said.

"That is very wise Lisa" a voice said. "Shadi? You came to us earlier" Lisa said. "Yes. but I sensed something in you that I wasn't sure If Yugi knew or not. You are with child correct?" shadi asked. "yes" Lisa said. "You must wait until he saves the world because if you don't he will worry about you to much" Shadi said. "That's why I'm waiting" Lisa said. "May I speak to the queen?" Shadi asked. "Sure" Lisa said. Yama took over. "What can I help you with Shadi?" Yama asked. "You must protect Lisa more than ever now. For her there are two life's at stake." Shadi said. "I already know shadi. I'll do my best to protect her and her child" Yama said. "Very good. Now I must take my leave. Goodnight my queen" shadi said as he disappeared. Lisa took back over.

Lisa was getting ready for bed when she heard something outside. She ran to the hall to see Mai in Joey's arms, unconscious. Yugi fallowed rubbing his arm. "Yugi, what happened?" Lisa asked. "Mai's mind has been locked in the shadow realm. If we can't stop Marik, she will..." Yugi stopped. he had a sadness in his eyes. "She will what" Lisa asked. "Die" Yugi said. Lisa went to Joey. "please don't leave Mai." Joey said. He was almost crying. Lisa could see Joey really liked Mai. Not just like a friend but more than that. The next match was about to start.

Serenity offered to stay by Mai's side. Everyone agreed. Lisa went back to Yugi and hers room. "I'll be in once we see who wins this match" Yugi said to her. "alright. I might be asleep by the time you get here" Lisa said. Yugi said that was fine. Lisa laid down on the bed. She looked down rubbed her stomach. She really wasn't ready to be a mom but she didn't have a choice in the matter now. She wondered what it would look like. Than she wished she could see her mom.

As Lisa fell asleep she dreamed of her mom. She dreamed of the day she left her Egypt. Her mom giving her a hug before she left, she remembered everything about her mom. She wanted her to see her grandchild. She was woken up by a kiss.

"Oh, sorry honey. I didn't mean to wake you" Yugi said. "No it's alright. Who won the last round?" Lisa asked. "Kaiba. But guess who he faced." Yugi said. "Who" Lisa asked. "Ishizu" Yugi said. Lisa leaned up. "but she has the Millennium necklace, did she know she was going to lose" Lisa asked. "Actually she was winning, even when Kaiba pulled out Obelisk she seamed seamed confident. But then Kaiba sacrificed obelisk and a another card he brought back from the grave and called blue-eyes white Dragon" Yugi said.

"What? he sacrificed an Egyptian god card?" Lisa asked. "Yeah. But only after the Millenium rod started to act up." Yugi said. "Ishizu visited Mai with me and everyone else. She told us about how Marik's dark side was born. Turns out his dark side was the one who killed his father." Yugi said. Then Yugi reached in his pocket. "She also said she didn't need this anymore" he said as he pulled out the Millennium necklace. "Whoa, so she gave it to you?" Lisa asked. "Yup" Yugi said.

Yugi was trying to get sone sleep but couldn't. "Can't sleep can you" Yami said to him. Lisa couldn't sleep either. "No, it just this whole tournament has been really dangerous." Yugi said. "yeah, but if we put our....." "Our trust in the heart of the cards than we will be fine" Yugi interrupted Lisa. "Sorry, I just.... I just don't want to lose any more friends" Yugi said. He turned away and started crying. Lisa felt helpless. "Isn't there something we can do guys" she asked Yami and Yama. "I wish we knew." Yama said.

Lisa mind became restless. She thought she was dreaming when she was in a chamber she never seen before. She opened the door and saw another door on the other side. "What is this" she thought. She entered the door to see a maze of doors. "Something wrong Lisa" Yama said. "Yama, what is this place" she asked. "This is the puzzle you have, I live here" Yama said. "Now your mind must have been restless to bring you here" Yama said laughing. "Yeah it is restless." Lisa said. "I bet yugi's is too" Yama said. "After today, most likely." Lisa said.

"You know, it looks really confusing in here. Is because you don't have memories of your past?" Lisa asked. "Yes. I've wondered threw these Halls and doors ever since you finished the puzzle. And haven't found anything." Yama said. "Yama, I will do everything I can to help you uncover your past." Lisa said they shook hands. Then there was a knock on the door. Yugi and Lisa woke up.

"Who is it?" Yugi asked in a groggy voice. "It's me Téa" Téa said though the door. Yugi opened the door and Téa said she was in Bakura's room and he was missing. Yugi freaked. "I'll help you look" Lisa said. The three of them search the entire blimp. "He's got to be somewhere" Téa said. "Wait the duel ring" Yugi said they all went up. They saw a purple cloud. "A shadow game" Téa said. "a shadow game? Great" Lisa said sarcastically. Yugi turned into Yami. "I'll check it out" he said. Téa tried to go with him but he said it was to dangerous. Lisa agreed.

Then after Yugi entered the purple cloud, Téa suddenly walked down stairs. "Téa?" Lisa called but she kept waking. The purple cloud cleared. Marik and Yugi headed inside. "What about Bakura?" Lisa asked. "I'm afraid he's in the shadow realm" Yugi said they went back to their room and fell asleep.
