Mr. Muto explained that the tablet said only a capable Warrior could go though these trials. Yugi thought this was crazy since he wasn't a Warrior. Lisa thought the same thing. Everyone else Said it could be the only way out. So they agreed. There was a door way with a bright light so they went though it.

The light was so bright they had to shut their eyes. When they were able to open them they found themselves in a desert. They were very confused about what the trial would be. Then they found a group of tents. Lisa got really scared. Yugi put his arm around her. "It will be alright" he said

They reached the tents and found people hiding in them. A little girl came up to them. "We're been waiting for you" the little girl said. She led them to a tent where an old man was sitting. She whispered something in his ear. The man nodded and lifted his hands. A scroll appeared and he gave it to the little girl. She gave it to Yugi saying that the man wanted him to have it.

He opened it and saw it was in Egyptian hieroglyphs. Mr. Muto looked at it. It said that it was the first trial. It said they had to silence The Voice in the wind. The little girl gave Téa a pendent. She also said they learned from the last visitor that the answer was in the eye of the storm.  They went out of the tent as a sandstorm started and they could hear a voice telling them to turn back.

Mr. Muto stayed behind since he didn't have a monster. Yugi, Lisa, Téa, Tristan and Joey were trying there best to get though the storm. Sandworms suddenly appeared. Yami and Yama had taken over for Yugi and Lisa by now. The storm got so bad they couldn't see each other or their monsters. Téa, Tristan and Joey were hit by something from the sandworms. It causes them to be partly turned to Stone. Yama couldn't see Yami and she called our to him. "What do we do?" Yama asked. "Stay where you are, I'll handle this" Yami said.

Yama couldn't just stand there. She had tiger Dragon out still. She climbed in it's back. "Let's see if we can see something" she said to it. She went above the clouds and saw a huge tornado. Soon she saw dark magician in a different form. He was heading straight into the tornado. Once he was inside Yama lost track of him. She tried to fly closer. Then the storm disappeared. She landed Tiger Dragon and saw Yami dressed kinda like dark magician. Once it disappeared he passed out. "Yugi" everyone yelled. Yugi took back over but he was still a little out of it. Lisa took back over her body. "Are you alright" Lisa asked. "Yeah, the armor takes a little out of me" he said. A stone on Téa's pendent lit up.

A door appeared and they were able to go though it. The reached a island in the sky. The sun was bright and intense. Then Yugi passed out. They found a nearby cave and Téa got her happy lover monster to use it's healing power. Lisa was worried. Yugi said he was fine but as soon as he stood up he passed out again and fell right asleep. Then a light shined though the cave. It was another scroll. Mr. Muto said it was the second trial. It read that they needed to find the valley of light and find the unbreakable stone. Joey, Tristan, and Mr. Muto said that Yugi should sit this trial out. Lisa was worried and so was téa. Joey told them to stay behind and keep an eye on Yugi.

Lisa found herself getting tired but didn't want to sleep so she could keep an eye on Yugi. Téa told her to go ahead and sleep. She would keep an eye on them both. Lisa laid next to Yugi and put her head on his shoulder. She fell asleep hoping Yugi would be alright. She was woken up by a kiss. "Yugi, you're alright" she said. "Yup, a couple of z's and I feel like a new man" he said. Lisa laughed. "Let's find Téa" Lisa said.

They went out of the cave and found Téa out there holding the clue. "They left this behind,. That's not good" Téa said not seeing Yugi and Lisa behind her. "Left what behind?" Yugi said. "Yugi your awake, um the other left the clue behind" Téa gave it to Yugi. "Can you read it?" Téa asked. "Not a word. But I know someone who can" he said. "How did you know I could read ancient hieroglyphs" Lisa said. Yugi turned to her. "You can?" Yugi asked. "Oh, you were taking about the pharaoh... Yes I can. My mom taught me before.." Lisa looked down. "I'll just let the pharaoh do it." Yugi said. Yami took over and read the riddle. "This is only half of it" Yami said. "Can we figure it out in the shade?" Téa asked. "Téa that's it" Yami said.

He ran into the cave. "what is it" Lisa said. "Look" he said. The symbols changed. Yami read it. "oh no, we have to find the others and fast" Yami said. They ran out of the cave. Yama took over after seeing how worried Yami was. "What did it say" Yama asked. "After the creature of light is defected, then the creature of darkness shall arise" Yami said. They got to the others and they were fighting the creature of darkness. Yami activated his duel armor and merge with dark magician.

"Wait it's too dangerous" Téa yelled but it was to late. He finished the merge. They defeated the creature of darkness. Joey was about to kill it but Yami stopped him. A box appeared. "He's no longer a threat" Yami said. "You've done well. Had you destroyed him, you would have failed the tried" a voice said. "Who's there?" Yami asked. "I am a friend. That's all you need to know now" he said. A man in a green cloak and helmet that covered his eyes appeared. "You passed level too" he said. Another stone lit up on Téa's pendent. "What will happen once we finish these trials?" Yama asked. "You would have proven to be a true king and be granted the power you deserve" the man said. "Wait. I don't want any power" Yami said. "There are those who do." The man said. Then he left.

They open the box to reveal wings. Yugi and Lisa took back over and everyone put on the wings. "Where too now?" Téa asked. "I'm assuming the bright door in the sky" Tristan said. They flew into the bright light and couldn't wait to start the next trial.
