Yama loved the name. Then she started getting the memories of when prince Yugi was born. But she also started getting more memories of the day their first son was born. They were very young, no older than 11. They were married the year before. They were in the garden with Mana and she was trying to get a fruit from a tree. "Thank you prince" Mana said in the flash back. "There you are my prince and princess" a young Mahad said. "Let me guess, my father wanted you to watch us?" A young Yami said. "Atem please, he is just trying to protect us" a young Yama said. "Atem, that's his name?" Yama thought. A poisonous snake came behind them. "Look out" young Mahad said. Mahad pushed the prince and princess out of the way getting bit himself

"My prince and princess, are you two alright?" Young Mahad asked. "Yes thanks to you, we have to get the poison out" young Yama said. Young Atem grabbed Mahad's arm and started sucking it out. "No the future pharaoh need not do this" young Mahad said. "You were bitten and I am getting the poison out. You would do the same for me because we are friends" young Atem said. Young Mahad smiled. "Yes, we are" he said. "Atem!!" Young Yama said. "My princess, what's wrong" young Atem asked. "I.. think it's time" young Yama said.

Young Atem quickly got her to their Chambers and the midwife was already there. Atem insisted on staying even though the midwife strongly was against it. Hours later their first son was born but he wasn't crying. "What's wrong?" Young Yama asked. "I'm sorry princess... The prince didn't make it" the midwife said. "No... Akhenamkhanen" young Atem said.

After the flash back she was shocked. She was still holding Asana. She realized they were going name their first son after Atem's father. Atem saw she was distracted. "Are you alright he asked" he asked. "Hm.. oh yes I'm fine" she said. She decided not to tell Atem his name, for she knew it wouldn't help her find her own real name.

The next day they were in the garden with Mana and king Lue. King Lue was holding his new grandchild. "She is adorable" Mana said. "Yes, it's a happy occasion, especially since what happened to..." King Lue went silent. "It's alright father, I miss Akhenamkhanen too." She said. "Your first born son, not your father-n-law" he said. "That's who I was taking about. Didn't you know we named him after my father-in-law?" Yama asked. "Must have forgotten, sorry" king Lue said. When Atem heard what his first son's name was, he started to think he and his father were close. He only wished he could remember him. "Mana, could you tell me about us" Atem asked. "Your serious?" Mana asked.

"Nevermind, that was silly of me" Atem said. Atem took baby Asana. Price Yugi joined them in the garden. "Can I hold her?" He asked. "Alright, but I want you to sit down" Yama said. Prince Yugi sat on a nearby wall. Atem gently handed Asana to him. "I promise to protect you, no matter what sister" prince Yugi said. "I wish your brother was like that" king Lue said. "How so?" Atem asked. "Well Sy as always blamed my daughter for his mother's death just because she died in child birth. I tried to tell him it happens but he doesn't listen. He promised the day he would become king of my country, he would execute her for murder" king Lue said. Yama didn't realize that. Atem was just as shocked. "That's why I brought her to Egypt when I did, to protect her" king Lue said. "Father, have I ever asked what mother was like?" Yama asked. "You have, but I never answered. I think it's time I did. Your mother was from England. We met around the same time age you met your husband. She was beautiful just like you. That's why I named you after her" king Lue said. "Wait, I was named after mother" Yama asked. She was going to ask her mother's name, but that would be bad now since her name was her mother's name. "Yes. After her death, I was very upset. But I had to continue raising you and your brother." He said.

Later that day Mahad said he wanted to go and re-secure the former Pharaoh's tomb. Atem agreed. Mahad left with a Giant stone. Yama could see what he was really doing. She was going to stop him but Isis talked to him first. Yama knew Mahad would return but at a cost.

That night Yama and Atem were asleep when they felt like one of their friends were in danger. They walked to the balcony outside of their room. Mahad's temple was lighting up. They Rush over there to find Mana begging to go in. The guards refused until Atem told them to let her in.

Inside they saw he was using his illusion magician. "If that's destroyed, my master will no longer be able to live" Mana said. They went to the stables. Mana got on a horse with Atem. "My queen, stay here. I'll be back" Atem said. He rode off and Yama went back to their Chambers. Asana was crying so Yama fed her. She was putting her back in the crib when a servent came rushing in. "My queen, your father wants to see you" she said. She fallowed the servent to her father's room where he was laying in bed looking I'll. "Father" Yama said. "My daughter..." He said. Yama took his hand. She began remembering this day. "Father, are you alright?" She asked not thinking. "N.. no. My time has come my daughter... I want you to always remember me.... I love you.... R..." He died before finishing his sentence.

"No.... Father... Father!!!" Yama said. She put her head down and started crying. The servents left her alone with his body. "Please father.. come back" she said crying. Hours passed and Atem returned. He was upset himself since Mahad was killed. When he returned to his and Yama's Chambers, she wasn't there. "Yama?" Atem asked since no one was around. He went back to the hall. A man named Karim was there. He held the millennium scale. "My pharaoh, I just received word that.. king Lue is gone." He said. "What, where is the queen?" He asked. "She's by his body. Fallow me" Karim led him to where she was.

Inside Yama was still crying. "Can you leave me alone with my wife" Atem asked. "Of course my king." Karim said. He left. Atem went up to his father-in-law's body. He rubbed Yama's shoulder. He remembered the convention they had earlier that day when Yama wasn't around. He learned her name but he didn't want to tell her since she was morning her father. Yama hugged Atem. Atem rubbed her hair. "Sh.. it's alright my love" Atem said. Yama couldn't hold back her tears. Atem picked her up bridal style and carried her to their room. He laid her on the bed and laid next to her.

"You have memories of your father. I don't... That's why it's hard for you." Atem thought. Later that day in the thrown room Seto asked if he could lead the man hunt for Bakura. He agreed and told him not to harm the people in the process. Yama was still in their Chambers crying. Memories of her childhood came flooding back. She found she met Atem at 8 years old. Her father left her in Egypt to protect her. He was there every year to visit. The memories made it harder for her knowing her father was gone. Soon Atem came by. "Darling, please cheer up." Atem said. She sat up and hugged him. "I'm sorry Yami, it's just I keep getting more and more memories and it's hard to morn my father." Yama said. He kissed her. "Don't worry, I'm sure we will see him again someday." He said.
