Several months had passed. Lisa got news her father would be at the reginal championship present the trophy in a month. Lisa met Yugi at his house and they walked to school holding hands. During study hall Yugi was teaching Joey duel monsters. He was starting to get the hang of it. But Yugi still won. "You did alright Joey. It's just my grandpa owns a game shop and I get all of my best cards from him" Yugi explained.

Joey got excited and suggested they go there after school. Yugi said that he might be able to get his grandpa to show him his rare card that he had. Lisa was able to come too even though she already seen the card. Kaiba had a suspicious look on his face. he shared a study hall with everyone. The rest of the school day went by quickly. Riku was there to pick up Lisa. "Riku, I'm going to Yugi's again. Lisa said. "Oh, okay" Riku said. He got in the limo and drove off. The 5 of them arrived at the game shop.

"Grandpa I'm home" Yugi said. Yugi asked to show his friends his rare card and he did. Just than Kaiba showed up. He wanted to see the card. He saw it and ran up to it. He tried to trade for the card. But Mr. Muto refused. Then Kaiba tried to buy it. Again Mr. Muto refused. He tried to tell Kaiba about the heart of the cards. But Kaiba wouldn't hear it. He walked away angrily.

The next day Lisa confronted Kaiba. "Why do you want that card. You have three already" Lisa said. "So I can't be used against me." Kaiba said. Kaiba went away. Lisa knew he would do anything to get the card.

After school Joey, Tristan, Téa and, Lisa went with Yugi to his house again. When they arrived Mr. Muto was nowhere to be found. Then the phone rang. Yugi answered it. "Hello, game shop" Yugi said. "Ahh Yugi" Kaiba said over the phone. "Kaiba" Yugi said. He explained that Yugi's grandpa was at his office and said that he wasn't feeling well. Yugi yelled at him trying to figure out what he did to him. They ran outside where Lisa's limo was waiting. "Hop in guys" Lisa said. They hopped in the limo. "Riku take us to kaibacorp" Lisa said. "Right away ma'am" he said.

At Kaiba Corp the 5 of them hopped on the elevator and went to the floor Kaiba was on. Mr. Muto was on the floor looking really I'll. "Grandpa" Yugi yelled. "Yugi I failed, I tried to teach him the heart of the cards" Mr. Muto said. Kaiba came out holding the blue-eyes white dragon card that belond to Mr. Muto and he ripped it in half. Lisa got mad and was about to change into Yama when Yugi agreed to a duel with his grandfathers deck.

Téa grabbed her marker and told everyone to put their hand together. She marked them with a special sign. It was there symbol of friendship. This way Yugi would never feel alone when he's dueling. Yugi went with Kaiba as Joey, Tristan, Téa and Lisa got Mr. Muto in an abundance. "Joey, Lisa, you guys get back in there and cheer for Yugi. Me and Tristan will take care of his grandpa" Téa said. Lisa and Joey went back in and found where they were dueling.

The images of the cards appeared as holograms. Joey freaked but Lisa didn't. Yugi was in the form of the sprit of his puzzle. When Kaiba had 2 of his blue-eyes white dragons on the field Yugi was able to use the swords of revealing light card to keep them from attacking. Soon Yugi played a card that was actually a combination of 5 cards. The unstoppable exodia. No one had ever been able to call him before. Kaiba freaked out. "Mind crush" Yugi said to Kaiba putting his arm towards him. "Maybe now you will see the truth"

Lisa ran up to Yugi. "You did it. You beat the world champion of duel monsters" Lisa said. "It wasn't easy. I almost gave up once" Yugi said. He went back to his normal self and they went home. Yugi kissed Lisa good night before heading into the game shop.

That night her puzzle began to glow. She held it in her hands. And what she saw freaked her out. "Father how could you" she thought. She thought she was hallucinating but she realized her puzzle had shown her the future. She had to stop it. But she didn't know how.
