A few weeks later Lisa's father was in town. By this time Joey had been getting lessons on duel monsters from Yugi's grandpa. It was the night of the finals of the Regional Championship. The two contenders were Weevil Underwood and Rex Raptor. Everyone was watching the finals at Yugi's house.

Joey really wanted to be in the competition but he wasn't ready. Mr. Muto came in the room. He was proud of Joey for he had learned a lot. Then he gave Yugi a package. It was from Lisa father. "Did you tell him I beat Kaiba" Yugi asked her. "No" Lisa said. After the championship was over and weevil was declared the winner, Mr. Pegasus gave him the trophy and announced duelist kingdom. Then Yugi open a box. It had a glove, two stars and a video tape. "Why did my dad send you stuff for the duelist kingdom tournament?" Lisa asked. "I have no plans on joining" Yugi said.

Tristan convinced Yugi to play the tape. He popped it in and Mr. Pegasus appeared on the screen. He then challenged Yugi to a duel right then and there with the time limit of 15 minutes. Everyone thought he was crazy except for Lisa. "It's happening" Lisa thought. Everyone but Yugi froze. But Lisa became unfrozen thanks to her puzzle. "Father stop this" she said. "Lisa, your with Yugi-boy. Why?" Pegasus asked. "he's my boyfriend" Lisa said. Yugi turned to the sprit of his puzzle and dueled Mr. Pegasus.

Lisa didn't know what to do. Yugi was ahead at first but only because her father was toying with Yugi. When time ran out, Yugi lost. Then Mr. Pegasus stole Yugi's grandfathers soul. Lisa couldn't believe it.

Lisa was told that she had to go to duelist kingdom as someone who makes sure no one cheats. She would help Yugi rescue his grandpa. Her father had called the school to let them know she would be out starting that Wednesday and would be back Monday. On Tuesday day she hung out with Yugi. He was depressed about his grandpa. "We will save him Yugi" Lisa said. "I know. But the boat doesn't leave until Friday." Yugi said. "I know. I'm leaving tomorrow to get things prepared for it." Lisa said. They laid down on Yugi's couch and snuggled up together. "I'll miss you" Yugi said. "You will see me Saturday." Lisa said. "But that's too long to be away from the girl I love" Yugi said. Lisa was shocked. "What?" She said. "I love you Lisa, that won't ever change" Yugi explained.

"I love you too Yugi" Lisa said. Then Yugi leaned in and they kissed. "Yami??" Yama called out. "You know me by that" Yami said. "It is you. The connection between Lisa and Yugi must allow us to communicate now" Yama said. "Your Yama, my... Wife" Yami said. "You remember me?" Yama asked. "Yes, I do. Only you though" Yami said. "And all I remember is you Yami" Yama said. They were able to hug. They cried tears of joy for they were together again.

"We have to do everything we can to save Yugi's grandpa" Yami said. "Agreed. And keep those two together" Yama said. "Yes, there love is real. I think I have a plan. When we face Pegasus, I will add in that he must let Yugi marry Lisa" Yami said. "Sounds like a plan to me" Yama said. Lisa went home happy. Yugi walked her home and kissed her goodnight. "See you Saturday" Lisa said. "See you Saturday" Yugi said back.

The next day Lisa left by helicopter to duelist kingdom. When she arrived her father was waiting for her. "Hi Dad" Lisa said. "hi sweetie, Croquet, take Lisa to the room that she is staying in while here" her father said. Croquet led Lisa too her room. It was across from her father's office. She went in the office and found a note book on the desk. She opened it and saw he was trying to get all of the millennium items and wanted to take over kaibacorp. Lisa found her father's deck. "I can't let Yugi lose" Lisa thought. She pulled out the three blue eyes white dragons from his deck and put them in her deck. Even though Yugi had exodia, it wasn't easy getting all 5 cards from the deck. She couldn't risk him losing. she went back in her room and hid her deck in the drawer.

At dinner her father asked Lisa what her relationship with Yugi was like. Lisa couldn't say it to him but he read her mind. "Ah you love him" he said. "How did you?" Lisa asked shocked. "That's my secret" he said. "Well it doesn't matter because once I beat him, you won't see him ever again." Mr. Pegasus said. "What? You can't do that dad" Lisa almost screamed. "I can and will. Besides once I beat him, his soul will be mine. And I'll be one step closer to getting your mother back" he said. Lisa went to her room crying. "Lisa, I won't let that happen to you. I promise" Yama said. But Lisa was too upset to listen. She cried herself to sleep.
