On monday Lisa put on her school uniform and walked to Yugi's house. She ran into Téa along the way. When they reached his house Mr. Muto looked like he was having a bad day. Yugi came out. "Is everything okay?" Téa asked. "My grandpa has been acting like this all morning" Yugi said. Then Mr. Muto explained that there was a new game shop that just opened. Yugi said he should check out the competition. Yugi's grandpa didn't want him to.

On the way the school they checked out the new game shop. They were handing out flyers for the dungeon dice monsters game. "I wonder how you play" Yugi said. Téa grabbed Yugi and said they were running late. Téa let go apologizing. They reached school right on time. Joey had heard about the game since he read the paper. He explained he delivers papers since he needed extra cash since all the money he won was going to Serenity's operation.

Then in another class room girls were cheering. They went to see what the commotion was about. Lisa could see who the girls were cheering for. "Duke?" Lisa said. "And who might you be" Duke asked flirting. "I'm Lisa, Lisa Pegasus" Lisa said. "oh your Maximilian Pegasus' daughter. Sorry didn't realize you" Duke said. "You doing anything tonight" he asked. "Yeah planning my wedding with my fiance." Lisa said. "Ha nice try. You can't be engaged." Duke said. "She is engaged to me" Yugi said. Duke looked shocked. The other girls were cheering for Duke. Joey got sick of it. Duke challenged him to a game. He placed a dice under a cup and said he could move it to his hand without touching the cup. Joey didn't believe him. Duke tricked Joey into lifting the cup. Joey got mad and challenged him to duel monsters.

Duke didn't have a deck. He said they would duel under the condition that they both opened new packs and made a new deck. Lisa and Yugi didn't like the idea. But Joey agreed to the condition. They made a bet. If Duke won, Joey would have to do whatever Duke wanted for a week. if Joey won he would close the shop. Duke agreed. After school everyone went home to change. Lisa met Yugi at his house and they went to the new game shop. Everyone else was waiting for Yugi and Lisa to arrive. Joey was overly excited cause he thought he would win.

Everyone walked in and we're lead to the elevator. There was a box full of packs of duel monster cards. Joey pick up enough packs to make a full deck. Joey looked happy. Yugi and Lisa asked if he got any good cards. Joey just said let him worry about it. Joey was able to get ahead in the duel. Duke acted like he barley knew about the game. When Duke was at his last 100 life points Yugi noticed Duke didn't look nervous at all.

Yugi tried to warn Joey but he wasn't listening. Yugi smacked his head against his hand cause he couldn't watch. Duke was able to take out all of Joey's life points in one move. A girl gave Joey a dog costume. Everyone tried to get Joey to not go through with his promise. Joey told them to stay out of it. Duke threw dice at Joey to keep him quiet. Joey put on the dog costume and barked like a dog.

Yugi couldn't take it and he changed to Yami. "That's enough Duke. I challenge you to a duel" Yami said. "Excellent, but we will duel in a different game. Dungeon dice monsters" Duke said. Yugi agreed. "If I win you let Joey go" Yami said. "Okay, if I win you must give me the title king of games and never play duel monsters again" Duke said. Lisa was shocked. "Yugi you can't agree to that" she said. "I have too. Duke I accept your terms." Yami said.

The duel ring changed into a different looking ring. Yami went on his side. Duke explained the rules the game started. Yugi had a hard time sommoning a monster. Yugi eventually got the hang of the game. But Duke revealed why he wanted to face Yugi in the first place. He thought Yugi cheated to beat Pegasus. Lisa knew that wasn't true. "Yugi didn't cheat. My father..." "I don't want to hear it" Duke interrupted. Lisa was going to say what her father did but there was no stoping what he believed.

Soon Yugi had no more monsters and there was almost no room to sommon a new monster. Luckily Yugi was able to sommon the dark magician and was able take out Duke's last heart point.

Joey was now free. Duke realized he was wrong. He apologized and Yugi offered him his hand in friendship. Duke accepted. Then Duke got an email saying the contract went though for his dungeon dice monsters. Everyone was proud. "Lisa, you have a great fiance. Good luck in your future" duke said. "Thank you Duke. And good luck to you as well" Lisa said.
