Lisa could see something was about to happen. "What's going on?" Lisa asked. "Joey and Kaiba are about to duel" Yami said. They decided to go watch. Joey was doing well against Kaiba. The only reason this duel was happening was because Joey wanted to see who gets third place. Téa went off somewhere but they didn't notice at first.

Kaiba used his crush card on Joey witch made him lose every monster with 1500 attack points or more. Then yugi's and Lisa's puzzles started glowing. They looked at them and saw Téa. "We'll be back Joey. Stay strong" Yugi said. They ran to the top of the tower. Yama took over for Lisa. They heard a commotion. "That's enough" Yami said. "ah the pharaoh and the queen. Looks like our game will start sooner than I thought." Marik said. Marik changed his mind and left. They saw Téa passed out next to Ishizu. "What happened" Yami asked. Ishizu explained that Marik's good side was inside of Téa.

She asked Yami and Yama to save Marik's good half. Yama couldn't promise since she wasn't in the tournament anymore. But Yami did promise. Téa woke up and had no idea what had happened. They went back down to see if they could see the end of Joey's duel. As they came out Joey was right there. They found out Joey lost the duel. Joey didn't want to worry about his duel. He wanted to worry about yugi's upcoming duel with Marik.

They still had some time before it would begin. Lisa knew this would be a hard duel. When it came time they were on top of the duel tower. The field was elevated. Before it began Kaiba came and threw Yami a card. Yugi did have 2 of the Egyptian god cards but Lisa wondered what card Kaiba gave him. Kaiba said he didn't have to use it. But Yami put it in his deck. "We may not always agree but I still trust you" Yami said.

Yami was shuffling Marik's deck and Marik was shuffling Yami's. Marik was mocking Yami, but Yami had a serious face. Then right as the duel started, Marik brought them to the shadow realm. He showed Mai to Yami who was in a hour glass and the sand was almost full. Then she disappeared. Then he showed Yugi next to Yami. "Yugi" Yami yelled. The good side of Marik was in the same state just on Marik's side.

Marik called a monster and it attacked Yami right away thanks to it's special ability. Then he changed that monster to defence mode after discarding a card. Part of Yugi's body disappeared and Yugi screamed in pain. "Yugi" Lisa called out. When Yami lost life points, Yugi would slip away. Lisa was overwhelmed with emotions. Yama took over to give Lisa time. Yami had no choice but to duel. "I won't let you die Yugi" he said to him.

The duel was hard. Yami was able to call Scyther the sky Dragon first. When that was destroyed he drew a card and played it facedown without looking at it. Yama knew he drew the card Kaiba gave him. He played it when Marik fused with the winged Dragon of Ra. Marik was about to attack when Yami played his facedown card. But the attack stopped because Marik played defuseion.

Yami looked at Yugi. Yugi nodded. "I pay 1000 life points to keep this card on the field" Yami said. Yugi was trying to hold in the scream from the pain. Lisa was deep inside her body. All she could hear was Yugi's screams. "Should I have told him before this fight." Lisa wondered. Yami used the card to call obelisk the Tormentor.

The good side of Marik went went inside Téa again. He told Yami not to worry about him. Yami had to find a way to save his good side. Then somehow Odion made his way to the tower. Ra was back on the field and Marik had fused with it again. Odion encouraged the good side of Marik to fight on. Then Marik started freaking out. "Pharaoh, attack, it's the only way. Please I can't hold on for to long" Marik's good side said. Yami played a card that called every monster from his hand, deck, and graveyard to attack Ra.

Ra was destroyed and Marik's good side took back over his body. "There's one more thing we have to do pharaoh" Marik said. Then the eye of Marik's dark side appeared. The tables had turned. Marik surrendered the duel. Yami won and Yugi was fully restored. Marik gave Yami the winged Dragon of Ra card. "Pharaoh, my queen. You both need to see this" Marik said. Yama stood next to Yami. Marik took off his shirt and showed his back. It was covered with scars from when Marik was given the job to carry the Pharaoh's secret on his back.

"Can you guys read it?" Joey asked. "We will try" Yami said. They couldn't understand it. But it seamed like the three god cards were trying to tell them what they said. Then the tablet from the museum started popping up in their heads. They realized that Yami's and Yama's lost memories we're hidden in that tablet. Then Marik gave the Millenium rod and ring to Yami.

Then Kaiba announced that the duel tower would explode in one hour. Everyone ran to the blimp. They went to check on Mai who should have returned. She was in her bed. "Mai please wake up. I would do anything for you to wake up" Joey said. Mai started laughing. She and Serenity loved Joey's reaction. Joey got angry but was happy Mai was safe.

Kaiba's crew tried to start the blimp but the engines were completely dead. Kaiba and Mokuba were also missing so they went to find them. Soon they had no choice but to leave without Kaiba and Mokuba and got on the helicopter they sent for Joey. It took off and the tower blew up. Then a blue-eyes white dragon appeared. It was a jet. Kaiba and Mokuba where alright. Mokuba said that they had business in America. They went a separate way and they were back in Domino before the sun set.
