"Look at me!" Your father slaps you real hard on your face, leaving a reddish hand imprint. "If you go out and meet him again, I will send you to a convent!" With that, he stomps away, taking long strides out of the living room. You stood there, holding your hurt cheek. Tears silently make way down to your cheeks. "But I love him Dad... why can't you see?"
The sound of footsteps starts getting louder. Afraid, you hide your face. "(First Name)! Who the hell did this to you?" Your sister, Annie, takes your face in her hands, glancing at the mark left by your dad. "That piece of trash! Sit yourself down, I'll take the first aid kit."
Little did you know, Annie called him. Annie started tending to your cheek, slowing putting cream over it. "It'll be alright soon." The doorbell rang. He was here. Annie disappears to open the door. "Where's she?"
"In the living room." With that, you silently curse. Why did Annie call your father back? Slowly, hands starts to pry your hands away from your face but you wouldn't budge. "It's me (First Name)..." With his soothing voice, you peek from your fingers too see his purple hair glistening. "Kanato...?" You whisper, tears threaten to fall from your face. "I'll protect you. Don't worry." His hands make way to your head, holding you in an embrace.
Annie tries to take a photo of you and Kanato but the flash was too bright. Kanato gives Annie a glare, signaling her to leave you both alone. "Oopsies, I'll go now." Annie disappears within a second. "Kanato..." You take a deep breath before continuing. "Father doesn't approve of us."
"Shh, that's not the point." Kanato slowly caresses your hair. "I need to make you happy." Kanato raises his teddy bear up. "Teddy agrees as well." With his fingers on Teddy's head, Teddy slowly gave a nod. Tears burst out from your eyes. "Oh Kanato! I really love you."
Slowly, his hands make way to your jaw line then your lips. He traces your lips before implanting his warm lips with yours. Taking a breath, Kanato pulls away, putting his forehead onto yours. "I love you too."
Kanato pulls you in to another kiss. Your hands make way to his hair, entangling it with your fingers. "I'll prove to your father that I'm worthy enough to make you my wife forever..."
