Gasps were heard around. Even Asuza was shocked. He clutched onto his heart, feeling the blood flowing onto his chest. "Isn't it funny?" Karlheinz laughs maniacally. "I lost a vampire horn yet a gun can't kill me!" He inserts his fingers inside his chest. A little while later, he pulls out a bullet coated in blood.
Reiji was the one who directed the gun away from Laito. After all, Laito was his brother. Although Karlheinz was his father, he was nowhere near a father figure. "To hell with you!" Karlheinz grabs Laito on the neck and starts choking him. Laito kicked him in the place where the sun doesn't shine which gave him an ample amount of time to switch their positions. Laito grabs the gun from your hand and shoots Karlheinz over and over again.
Karlheinz laughs maniacally again. "You know that doesn't kill me right?" Laito smirks. "Oh really?" What Karlheinz didn't know was that Reiji had placed a bullet in which weakens the vampire himself and locks all powers away until eternity. Laito gets off the said man who was starting to feel a tightening in his chest. "Serves you right!" Laito takes the center of the stage and claps. "The show has ended."
The Tsukinamis left. After all, they had no relations to a vampire as they were werewolves. The Mukamis were so amazed by the fact that Laito had done something against his father. They congratulated him before leaving the church. Shu gave him a pat on the shoulder, Subaru gave him a small smile, Ayato laughed and smacked his back, Kanato rubbed Teddy at his face and Reiji smirked at him. "Well done."
Your mother wasn't having any of this. Her love of her life was screeching in horror that he lost his ability of being a vampire and her daughter was being praised for being with Laito. Elissa grits her teeth, grabbing the gun from the floor and points it towards you. "You took every thing from me! When your father was still alive, he paid more attention to you and not me and so I killed him. Everyone loves you. Why can't they love me? I think it's time that you should be gone."
Elissa was shaking, still pointing the gun at you. To pull the trigger or not to pull was the only thought in your mother's mind. Her finger slowly pushed the trigger but Reiji, being the keenest among his siblings, saw your mother. He titled the gun away as it released a bullet towards the ceiling. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Can't find any new hobby?" Reiji takes the gun from her and throws it away. "See you later."
Vampires surely use their powers well. You along with the Sakamakis were teleported back into the Sakamaki Manor, leaving your mother behind with Karlheinz.
Laito brought you out to the balcony of the manor. He took off his blazer and placed it onto your shoulders. "What a messy day huh?" Laito chuckles, pushing his hair back. You laugh, seeing Laito in front of you makes you want to cry. "Don't cry." He places both of his hands on your face, brushing his thumbs over your eyes. You burst out in tears, pulling Laito's body into an embrace. "I thought I'd lose you."
"I'm here now, aren't I?"
You laugh, tears still flowing down from your eyes. "(First Name)..."
"What?"
"I have something to tell you."
"What is it?"
Laito removes himself from you and takes out a red velvet box from his pocket. "I guess, it's kind of late and everything got a little crazy but I'd still like to ask you a life changing question."
