Ever since you stayed in the Sakamaki Manor, you felt out of place but Yui helped you around. On this process, you got to know the Sakamaki brothers especially Subaru. He was sweet and caring and didn't act mean like Laito as he called you "bitch-chan" and that's how you fell in love with him. Every time Yui would hang out with you, Subaru would come along and you believed that Subaru had feelings for Yui because that was the only time he came to see you and you felt disappointed.
One night, you, Yui and the sakamaki brothers were dining. You only stared at your food and picked on the brocolli. "Stop picking on your food and eat." Reiji scolded, worried about your attitude today. "Bitch-chan needs to lose weight. She looks like a pig!" Laito guffaws. You drop your fork onto the plate and leave the table without looking back.
The only place you felt at peace was at the balcony. It was quiet and serene which made you calm. You sigh. Your love life wasn't going so well and Laito wasn't treating you any better. You could only think about leaving this place and start a new life but you didn't know where to go. Your parents weren't even on earth anymore and your siblings were all killed by vampires. The only place was the Sakamaki Manor but you have your own doubt.
You hear a rustling sound and see a shadow looming from behind you. You were going to leave without glancing at the said figure but he gripped onto your hand. "I'm sorry about what my brother said. Don't believe on what he says. He's crazy."
"Well, I mean... look at me. I'm not as slim as Yui. I know I have to loose weight."
Subaru sighs. You were stubborn and hard headed. He brings you close until you both were only inches apart. "You're perfect just the way you are." He pulled you onto his embrace, laying his chin on your head. Although you enjoyed the closeness, you couldn't help but feel uneasy. "Yui will get the wrong idea, you know." You laugh, tears starting to form on your eyes. "Is that why you're avoiding me? And it's because I'm with Yui?"
"It's wrong of us. We'll get caught so let go of me."
"So you're saying we can't be together?"
"Yes..." You hesitated for a bit, tears finally fall freely. "Then I have a favor. Would you grant it for me?" He wipes your tears away with his thumb before placing a strand of hair behind you ears. "What is it?" He smiles. "Hear me out please."
"I'm not with Yui. The only reason why I tag along is because I can spend time with you. I know, it's lousy of me to not approach you personally but I don't know if I can hold myself."
"Hold yourself from what?"
"From this."
He kisses you, closing the gap between you and him. As the kiss deepens, his hand snake behind and holds onto your waist while the other unzips the zipper. On that night, you both made love to each other.
On the next morning, you woke up in his arms. You tried to remove yourself from his touch but he only pulled you closer. "Good morning." He kisses the hickey on your shoulder. "Morning..."
"You don't sound so well."
"I..."
He snakes his hand onto your waist, leaning his head onto your lap. "I am yours and you are mine. Got it?" You smile, entangling your hands in the locks of his messy hair.
