coup de foudre
learning to take a risk on him
was like learning to tame a
hurricane with a swirling eye;
growing in strength and speed.
getting caught in the storm,
added only to mystique,
building adrenaline, until -
gusty winds die, skies clear, and
i , damp with rainwater
analyze the path of the storm,
despising my role in it.
well, who could blame me?
