Dear Lonliness
Everyday you hound me
Missing the one I truly long for
Opening up my heart to him in vain
Needlessly reaching out to him.
He shackles himself inside a cage
Endlessly lashing out at his bars
Artfully turning his back to me
Remembering the sins of his past
To guard his never-yielding heart
