Out on My Feet
I was so tired I thought I'd fall
barely noticing a siren's call
She crossed her legs and drew my eyes
then she smiled and to my surprise
slid over so I could take a seat
She fluffed her hair and pursed her lips
I told myself to come to grips
I thanked her for her gesture grand
then I sat down and made her stand
Her glare was icy to the core
I didn't care - began to snore
Well who could blame me?
