"Welcome to Stark industries!"

MJ, Ned, and Flash all glanced towards one another, worry building up in their chests. The last time any of them had spoke to Peter was last night, right before he went to patrol the streets of Queens, New York. And now he doesn't show up to the field trip they were supposed to be on? That's just a recipe for trouble.

They looked back towards the tour guide, (was her name Tonia?) to see her passing out clearance badges. Once she got to the group of three she looked awestruck.

"O-Oh my!" she gasped. Her hand flew towards MJ to shake, the teen complying swiftly. "I-I'm such a big fan of your work, Miss Jones. I-I can't believe you're here! In front of me! I'm T-Tonia, one of the beta interns in the department of sociality."

MJ smiled warmly, retracting her hand from the greeting. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Tonia. I hope to see you again one of the days. And to answer the question, no, we don't need any badges."

Tonia nodded before hurriedly walking back to the front of the group. "Sorry about that, students. It's just an honor to be in Miss Jones' presence." she said. "Now we will go through the security scanners, where you will scan your badge. I'll demonstrate.

Tonia ran her badge through the scanner and FRIDAY's voice immediately responded. "Tonia Mills, beta level three." The students awed and oohed before rushing to be next.

"Nis'kiesha Thomas, omega level one."

"Karis Venn, omega level one."

"Ethan Orin, omega level one."

This carried on for about twenty more students, until only MJ, Ned, and Flash were left.

"Ned Leeds, Engineering Graphics, alpha level two."

"Flash Thompson, Technical Math, alpha level two."

"Michelle Jones, Faculty Portfolio Accessor, personal assistant, alpha level five. Mr. Parker is currently out of the building, do you wish me to send him a message?"

MJ thought for a moment before answering. "Why yes, thank you FRIDAY."

"Anytime, Miss Jones," The A.I replied. Students gawked at the group of three, but soon forgot of the ordeal once Tonia starting to lead them on their tour.

Peter breathed in through his nose, hissing at the hot pain in his side. The handle of a knife stuck out of his shoulder, the blade almost poking through the other side. Blood pooled from a gun shot wound below his ribs, as well as another one on his side.

"God damn it..." he groaned as he leaned his good shoulder against the brick wall. The mask covering his face prevented him from breathing in correctly, making him heave his shallow breaths. "Karen, call dad."

"On it, mini boss." Moments later Tony Stark's face popped up on the screen inside the high tech mask.

"What's up, kid? Why are you still out on patrol?" the billionaire questioned. Peter took a deep breath but immediately winced.

"I... I need you to get the, um the med-bay... r-ready," he forced out, sweat beginning to drip down his forehead. Tony squinted his eyes in concern.

"On it. How far are you?" he asked.

"Um... five minutes at most? Maybe t-ten? I can't think... straight."

"God, Peter," Tony groaned. "Just come as fast as you can." Peter nodded in response before the call was cut. He painfully righted himself and began to swing, taking careful notice to the blade still embedded in his bicep. As he was swinging, Karen spoke up.

"Mini boss, I've received a message from FRIDAY. Would you like to hear it?" the A.I asked.

Peter grunted in response, signaling yes. Karen began to relay the message. "Your class has arrived on a field trip."

"Oh no!" Peter gasped, his grip faltering on his web. "God dammit, I completely forgot about that."

"And here we have the med-bay, which tends to injuries of our staff and the Avengers!"

MJ looked around curiously, even though she was in this section of the tower almost every single day. But as she was flitting her eyes over the area, red lights began flashing around, scaring the students.

"Stay calm, students. the flashing lights mean someone important is coming in for medical treatment," Tania explained, calming down the teens. MJ's gut lurched, telling her that something was wrong. As if almost on cue, Spider-Man came limping in, a trail of red from behind him.

"Oh my god..." Flash whispered when he saw the embedded knife. "What the actual hell did he get into?"

Nurses flooded around the red and blue clad hero, leading him to one of the beds. Removing his mask, Peter took in a deep breath, ruffling his sweaty hair with his good arm. His classmates stood there in awe and confusion. Why did Peter Parker have the Spider-Man suit on?

"What did you do?" Doctor Helen Cho exclaimed as she touched the knife handle. Peter chuckled.

"This gang of bank robbers didn't like me all-too-well," he replied.

"Bite down on this rag for me, will you? It will help you not bite your tongue in half." Peter took the rag from Helen's hands and placed it in his mouth, keeping a hand on it. The female doctor gripped the knife handle before quickly yanking it out, making Peter let out a painful scream.

She dropped the knife onto a tray before grabbing some scissors and cutting off the top half of his suit, revealing his bloody stomach and chest. The students gasped quietly at the site of their battered and bruised classmate. But the thing that they were staring at the most was his abs. All ten of them and their glory, defined and toned like an adult body builder.

It was only now that Peter looked behind him, his heart literally skipping twenty beats. "Shit..." he said as he stared back at the teens. MJ snickered from her place in the line, earning a glare from the teen hero.

"You have a lot to explain."
