Can I just say happy freaking Asexual Awareness Week! Ugh I love this time of year even though I myself am not ace, i have some friends who are and gods i just freaking love them

Peter Parker sat in his room, feet propped up on his desk as he was in a video chat with his best friends Ned, Shuri, and Wade, along with his girlfriend MJ. They were originally doing homework but... well let's just say they got a little distracted... by things you really don't want to know.

"Damn that was hilarious," Peter wheezed as he almost fell out of his chair. The three friends and the significant other nodded along in agreement.

"Like, hella hilarious!" Wade snickered. Ned clicked his tongue.

"She was all like, 'oh my goodness! I hate you!!'" After a few minutes the conversation steered serious.

"Okay, sorry to bring the mood down but Peter... you need to tell your family soon," Shuri said. Said boy sighed, rubbing his temples with his hands.

"Yeah... I know- I know, but... it's just really hard, you know?" he mumbled. MJ gave him a smile.

"Peter, if I can accept you as asexual, your family should too. And for gods' sake I'm your girlfriend!" she exclaimed. Peter nodded his head.

"Yeah, you're right... I'll gather them all up now," he replied with a sudden burst of confidence. Peter stood from his chair before saying his goodbyes to the group chat, clicking the end call button. Walking over to his door, the teenage boy hesitated for a few seconds before willing himself to walk out, slowly making his way down the hallway.

Peter brought his wrist up to his mouth and muttered some words under his breath. "Karen, tell FRIDAY to gather the Avengers in the commons, please."

It was a total of fifteen minutes later when all the Avengers in the tower arrived in the commons to see a nervous Peter Parker and at least fourteen mugs of tea on the table. He smiled sheepishly at his family before licking his dry lips.

"U-Um... please sit down..." he stuttered out. The Avengers looked at him weirdly but complied, each grabbing a mug of tea as they sat on the various couches and chairs, some even on the floor. Peter picked up his own mug and took a delicate sip.

Before dumping it all onto the floor.

"Today... I am spilling the tea," he started as he righted his now-empty mug in his shaking hands. Tony stared at him.

"Is this why you wanted us here? So we could watch you ruin my carpet?" the billionaire questioned. Peter solemnly shook his head.

"No.. I uh... I-I need to tell you guys something..." he whispered. "I-I'm... I..." tears welled in his eyes. "I can't do this." And with that, he ran off down the hall and back to his room, locking the door behind him.

The Avengers were immediately concerned for the teenage hero and went after him but were too late after realizing they couldn't get in.

With Peter, he was curled up in his bed, lights shut off encasing him in darkness. His phone was the only source of light in the room as he clicked the call button for MJ's contact. She answered almost instantly, a smile on her face that soon dissipated when she saw the tears tracks.

"Peter? What's wrong?" she asked, concern lacing her voice. Peter choked on a sob.

"I-I couldn't do it," he cried out. MJ breathed deeply.

"I believe in you, baby. Just go out there and tell them," she soothed. Peter sniffles and wiped his nose on his sleeve.

"B-but what if they hate m-e?" MJ sighed.

"They won't, I swear."

"O-Okay..." Peter ended the call and soon stood, wiping away the rest of his tears. He hesitantly unlocked his door, only for it to be bashed in and to be tackled by the Avengers.

"Shit!" Clint squeaked as Bucky and Steve fell on top of him. Quickly, everyone helped themselves up, Tony helping his son onto his bed.

"Peter, kiddo... what do you need to tell us?" he asked softly, rubbing circles in his kid's back. Peter took in a shaky breath.

"I-I'm asexual..." he whimpered, burying his face in his hands. Everyone nodded but Steve.

"What's that?" the super soldier asked. Natasha looked at him.

"It means that you don't have any sexual attraction o your spouse or anyone," she explained. Steve's face morphed into one of disgust.

"So you're telling me he's not going to have sex? That's just stupid. Gods, I feel bad for whoever you're dating!"

"Steve!!" Bruce gasped in shock.

Peter broke out in a fit of sobs once more, making Bucky have to push Steve out of the room, slamming the door shut on him.

Tony brought the crying teen into his chest, taking his fingers through the boy's hair. "It's okay, bud. We still accept you..."

"B-But uncle St-eve-" Natasha cut him off.

"He'll come around, I'm sure of it. Even if I do have to pull a few strings..."
