Annabelle POV

"Hey, Belle?" Ashton grabs my attention. We were currently in my dorm room the next day and Jenna wasn't here so it's just us.

"Yes?"

"Do you wanna grab a burger? I'm starving!"

"Sure." I answer and grab my phone, notebook, a pen, and wallet. I put them all in my purse. Ashton takes my wallet out of my purse and sets it back on my desk.

"What was that for?"

"What, you think I would let you pay?"

"Ashton, I can pay for myself."

"I'm sure you can. But, I wanna pay for you."

"Asht-"

"No, Belle, I'm paying."

3. Very nice and sweet.

"Okay, whatever." We start on our way to his car which is only about a three minute walk through the campus.

"So, Ashton, why does everybody call you and your friends the bad boys of the college? So far you've been very nice to me." I ask.

"I don't know. Probably our appearance. Always wearing black skinny jeans, graphic tees. Like, maybe we're a bit rebellious."

"Michael also dyes his hair and has an eyebrow piercing. And Luke's lip piercing. Maybe people are imitated by their piercings."

"Maybe. Before you met us, what did you think of us?"

"I thought of you as the bad boys."

"Why?"

"That's what everybody calls you."

"So you just went with what they said?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"That's the problem, Belle. One person judges another person and then everybody agrees just because this one person thought it."

"Maybe this project it good for us. So far I've learned that you're not what people thought of you."

"Exactly." We were by his car now and we got in.

"What did you think of me?" I ask him.

"I thought you were some girl obsessed with her grades."

"Why did you think that?"

"You just look like it. Are you obsessed with your grades?"

"No."

"Good."

"Ashton, where are you taking me?"

"I told you; a burger place."

"But what burger place."

"You'll see." I groaned and looked out the window. "What, do you not like surprises?"

"Not partially."

"Don't worry. This is a good surprise." He laughed and I laughed, too.

"Maybe."

"So what kind of music do you listen to?"

"I really like Ed Sheeran. I also bands like All Time Low, Arctic Monkeys, Mayday Parade, The 1975, Blink-182, Green Day."

"I love All Time Low and Blink and Green Day." He says.
