*Day Twenty-Three*

Annabelle POV

I walk downstairs to find Ashton. I just woke up, and he wasn't next to me. I smell something being cooked - waffles, maybe? - so I assume Anne is up, and she knows where Ash is.

I walk into the kitchen, and I'm surprised when I find Ashton at the stove, not his mother.

"Good morning, honey! I made you breakfast!" Ashton cheerfully says, smiling brightly.

76. Knows how to cook

"Morning. Why'd you make me breakfast?" I ask him, walking up to him and wrapping my arms around his waist, him facing me.

"Because I love you and I'm a good boyfriend."

Wait, what?

"Wait, I'm sorry, what?" I ask.

"What?"

"You love me?" I ask.

"Um, I-I mean that, um, I, I like you, a-a lot, but love?-"

"I love you, too." I say and kiss his nose.

"Seriously?" He asks in surprise.

"I wouldn't still be standing here if I didn't." I say, and Ashton smiles before kissing me. It's passionate and slow, but gets cut short by an 'ew' at the door. I pull away to see Harry there, scrunching up his face in disgust.

"I just wanted some breakfast, but I walk in here and lose my appetite." He says.

"Oh, you don't like watching me kiss someone?" Ashton asks.

"Not exactly."

"Fine then." Ashton dramatically dips me down to his hips and I squeal. He kisses me as if a person would in a soap opera.

"Ashton!" Harry screams in annoyance.

Ashton pulls for a few seconds, "Sorry, can't here you, too busy kissing my girlfriend." He goes back to kissing me. I hear Harry stomp away and I pull away.

77. Teases his brother

"I think you've done enough to torture your brother." I say, and Ashton picks me back up.

"See Ash, Belle likes me!" Harry yells from the other room.

"What's going on here?" Anne asks, walking downstairs, Lauren following.

"Ashton's tormenting me!" Harry yells.

"How is he doing that?" Lauren asks.

"He's kissing Belle! In front of me!"

"PDA much?" Lauren teases.

"Harry, honey, they're allowed to kiss, they're dating. And Lauren, it's not PDA if they're in the house."

"Yeah, Lauren." Ashton says, which results in her sticking out her tongue, and Ashton doing the same in response.

78. Haves a good relationship with family

"Guys, you're probably scaring Belle. Ash, just get the food and eat." Anne says.

"No, it's fine. I used to be exactly like this with my brother." I say, smiling a bit.

"You used to?" Anne questions my choose of words.

"Mum, I wouldn't cross that line." Ashton suggests, bring over a plate of food.

"No, Ash, I feel like I should tell them." I protest.

"Are you sure?" He asks. "You disappeared for hours when you found out."

79. Worries about me

"Yeah, I'm sure. I brought it up."

"Actually, I did. You don't need to tell me anything if it hits too close to home." Anne interjects.

"No, it's, it's just- My brother is dead. He died of cancer a few weeks ago." I tell them and watch their reactions.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, lovey. I shouldn't have mentioned it."

"No. It's fine. It's better than watching him suffer, which is what he was doing alive."

"Let's just eat." Ashton says from next to me, and I take a bite out of the surprisingly delicious food he's prepared.

"Wow, Ash, this is actually pretty great."

80. Is good at cooking

"You sound surprised."

"If I'm being honest, I kind of am surprised."

"Way to judge, Annabelle."

"Why don't you call her Belle like everyone else?" Harry asks.

"Yeah, seriously. Is it like one of those weird boyfriend/girlfriend things where they each have a name for each other that no one else calls them. Or, Ash, are you just weird?" Lauren agrees with her younger brother.

"Eh," Ashton looks at me,"She's too special for such a simple name like Belle."

I have an idea for a Luke story. I already know what the whole plot and story is, but today I really started thinking about it. I also started thinking about something special I have coming up called the Song Series. you've probs heard of it. if I mentioned it.
