Annabelle POV

I groan as I get confused on the next mathematics question. I throw the pencil to the bed and put my hands to my temples. I take deep breaths for a few seconds. I pick my pencil back up up to attempt to do, again. Jenna is on her bed shooting headbands at the roof.

"Belle, you wanna go shopping? I'm bored and I don't want to do my homework. Plus I have money to waste." Jenna asks. I think about it for a little while. I'm tired, bored, hella frustrated, and confused. There is no way I'm doing my homework right now.

"Yeah, okay." I ditch my homework to the side and get my purse.

"I'll get Meghan and Milly!" She yells and skips out of the room. I put my school work away and quickly brush through my hair. I put on my Vans and go outside. All three girls are standing there talking to Ashton, who holds a bouquet of flowers.

"Oh, hi, Ash."

"Hey, Belle." I walk next to him and he kisses my cheek. He puts his arm around my waist.

"Belle, you didn't tell me you were going on a date with him Saturday." Meghan says in a stern voice.

"I was going to. I just didn't get there yet."

"No excuses. You should have told us the exact moment he left!" Jenna fake screams.

"Yeah! We are your friends, God dammit, we deserve to know!"

"I'm sorry!"

"Hey now, stop yelling at the pretty girl."

Aw. He thinks I'm pretty.

24. Not afraid to say what he thinks

(Even if it's just that a girl is pretty.)

"Thank you, Ashton."

"Anything for you. Oh, I got you these flowers." He hands be the large bouquet he held.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Here, I'll bring them inside for you." Then he takes them again and goes inside my dorm.

"Why the fuck can't I find a boyfriend like that?" Meghan asks.

"He's closer than you think." I say. Luke. "And he's not my boyfriend."

"Yeah, okay, keep telling yourself that." Mills says sarcastically.

"I'm being serious."

"And so am I when I say I lost my arm in the Revolutionary War." Meghan says.

"Guys."

"Okay, I wanted to know if you'd like to hang out at my dorm, but you're busy. We can reschedule, right?"

"Sure. Sorry, Ashton."

"Don't be. I'm a few minutes late. I'll wait."

"Thank you."

"We're still on for Saturday, correct?" He asks.

"I wouldn't dare to miss it for a second."

"You and Ashton are so cute together. I ship it." Meghan says after we got into the car.

"Oh, God." I mumble.

"What's their name guys?"

"Annaton? Ashbelleton? Ashbelle?" Jenna says.

"I like Annaton and Ashbelle."
