Annabelle POV

I wake up during the late night to a weird sound. I looked at the clock and it read 3:26. I wonder what's making that sound so close.

"Hello?" I quietly whisper, but the noise stops, so maybe it's a person?

Just go to bed, you can figure it out in the morning.

I shrug and close my eyes again. I quickly go back to sleep.

After classes, my new boyfriend and I decide to meet up at the coffee place he takes me to on campus.

I'm waiting for him and he has two minutes left.

"Hi, Annabelle." Ashton says when he greets me.

33. On time

"Hey, Ash." He kisses my cheek and slides into his seat. "You're not thirsty?" He just waves it off.

"Have you told anyone about us dating now?"

"I actually haven't yet. I'm going to later today."

"I told the guys. They're happy for me because they know how much I like you."

34. Cute with words

"Aw, Ash, you're so cute." I say and he laughs. "Can I ask you something?"

"Anything."

"I heard a weird noise sound last night at around 3:30. Do you know anything?" He gets tense, but I ignore it.

"No, I don't actually. Did you sleep with your windows open?"

"Yeah, I always do."

"It could just be the wind lightly moving something. Or pipes. Or a ghost."

"I doubt it was a ghost." I say, rolling my eyes.

"You never know." He yawns suddenly.

"Are you tired?"

"Yeah, I was up late with school work." He answers.

"I completely get it. I was kinda up late too."

"Would you like to go on a walk?"

"Sure." I stand up and throw my now empty cup away. Ashton smiles at me and grabs my hand. We walk out of the caffe and take a left, to the heart of the campus.

"I really like you, Annabelle."

"I really like you, too, Ashton. You're cute."

"That's all I get? 'You're cute?'"

"Okay, fine. I also love your laugh, but that's all I'm giving you."

"Wow, thanks."

"You're welcome."

"I'll at least give you more than that. I like your hair, I like your sense of humor, I love that you're sarcastic. I like a whole hell a lot of you."

"What don't you like about me?"

"I like everything about you. I don't dislike anything about. You really hold me tight. You never want to let me, yeah you make me feel alright. That's what I like about you." (I'm so sorry)

"Isn't a song?"

"You know it."

"I like that song." We get to a fountain in the center of everything and we sit on the edge of it.

"I've always loved this fountain. It's so pretty." I randomly get the desire to know more about him and his family.

"Tell me about your family."

"Um, okay. My mother's name is Anne and she's a lovely woman. She's very nice to everyone. My dad left us when I was younger. I have two younger siblings. Lauren and then Harry. Lauren is 13, Harry is 10. I love them all. My siblings are amazing. My entire family is so happy that I've decided to go to college. I love them. You would love them, too."

"I bet I would."

39. Speaks so highly of his family

"Actually, I'm going home this weekend. Would you like to come meet them?"

"Do they even know you have a girlfriend?"

"No, but they know of you."

"I'm not sure."

"C'mon, they would love you!"

"Okay, I guess."

"Yay! Thank you! On Saturday they're having a barbecue. How about Friday night I pick you up and drive us there? It's only about twenty minutes from here. How about five okay?"

"Okay."

It's Tuesday. In three days I'm going to meet my boyfriend's family.

I need a blessing.
