Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 18

(Daniels POV)
"Guys—" I began.
All their eyes focused on me.
"I have something I need to say."
Jacks lip quivered as his eyes made contact with mine. Behind the tears, I saw hope.
That absolutely destroyed my heart.
I felt so bad, but it had to be this way.
"Are you going to tell us or what?" Zach said softly, breaking the moment between Jack and I. "Uhh" I coughed, clearing my throat.
"I know who that guy is." I said, pointing down at Jacks phone that was placed on the floor, the twitter picture still displayed on the screen.
Jack, along with all the others, looked down at the phone and back up to me. Their faces formed into a concerned look, Jacks especially.
"Who is it?" Jack said, a hint of anger in his tone. My brain clouded, and I had forgotten everything that I rehearsed in my mind whilst running up the stairs. "I—it—uh—he—well—ah" I stuttered, panicking. I looked down at my feet, closed my eyes and took a breath.
"Daniel, I swear to God, if you don't tell me in the next 10 seconds I—"
"He's just a friend!" I blurted out, cutting off Jack from his threatening sentence.
"He's just a friend." I sighed.
Jack stared at me, his eyes squinted and mouth slightly open. "What difference does that make?" He asked, pissed off. "She still cheated on me—"
"SHE DIDN'T CHEAT ON YOU!" I yelled, slamming my fist against the wall of the hallway. My chest was raising up and down, and my breathing was deep. Corbyn, Jonah and Zach stared at me, completely frozen in shock. Getting violent or even the slightest bit angry is very out of character for me, I don't blame them for looking at me like I just did 3 backflips whilst setting my hair on fire.
I closed my eyes and let out a sigh.
"She didn't cheat on you Jack." I said calmly.
"How do you know?" He said, not looking at me, but the photo. "That guy, is Sammy's friend, I've met him before." I lied.
"When?" Jack asked, looking up at me.
"At uh, on the tour." I lied, trying to keep eye contact with Jack. He knows when I'm lying so I needed to be as normal as possible.
"Why was he on tour?" Zach butted in.
"Sammy met him at an audition I'm pretty sure, and we were in his home town performing, so he came out to support her." I responded confidently. "I've never seen that guy before in my life." Jack murmured. "What's his name?"
"I can't remember, I gave him a handshake and then left him alone with Sammy." I answered.
"Why would you leave them alone together!"
Jack yelled.
"Jack they're just friends!" I yelled back.
"I don't believe you!" He said, standing up against the wall.
"Fine! If you don't believe me, I don't care, I'm just telling you what I know, and I know that Sammy didn't cheat on you. We both know she wouldn't do that!" I screamed, letting out all my anger. The whole house fell silent, even the birds outside stopped chirping. Jacks mouth opened, but no sound came out. It trembled up and down for a second before his lips turned into a frown and his face scrunched up.
His sobs echoed through the house as I rushed to his side. His legs gave way and he started falling to the ground. Luckily Jonah leaped out and caught him just before his whole body came into contact with the hardwood floor. Zach, Corbyn and I surrounded Jonah as he held Jack, his head buried in Jonah's chest.
"I think it just hit him." Corbyn whispered into my ear.
"Yeah." I responded. "Now we need to be here for him."
(Sammy's POV)
As I hung up the phone call with Daniel, I patted my under eyes with a piece of toilet paper from the airplane bathroom. I didn't want to cry in front of Noah, so I excused myself from my seat, and snuck off into the toilet located towards the back of the plane.
I felt so bad for forcing Daniel into an uncomfortable situation. I never meant for anyone to get upset or hurt, I was only doing what's best for Jack. As the tears cleared from my eyes, I unlocked the toilet door and walked down the isle of the plane, trying as best as I could to hide my face, just in case any of my fans spotted me. Successfully, I found my way back to Alex and Noah. "Sorry!" I said smiling, as I scooted past Alex, trying not step on his toes. "It's all good." He responded, his eyes still buried in his film book. Just as I was about to fully pass Noah, the plane started shaking as a result of turbulence, and I fell onto Noah. Before I could completely body slam him, he stuck out his hands and grabbed my waist. My forehead was resting against his, our lips just inches apart.
"Sorry!" I whisper yelled, smiling as I stared at his lips. He giggled before lightly pushing me back onto my feet. "All good." He smiled.
I sat back down in my seat, feeling a little embarrassed, and put in my earphones that were connected to my phone. The first song that played just had to be Words I Didn't Say by, you guessed it, Why Don't We. Without warning, a tear slipped out of my eye, and I immediately skipped the song before I could hear Jacks verse. I closed my eyes and fell asleep to WorldWide by Big Time Rush, not like that was any better than Words I Didn't Say, but at least it wasn't Jack singing.
I dreamt about nothing.
My whole dream was black.
I didn't know if that was a good thing or not, but I was soon awoken by Noah lightly shaking me. "We're about to land." He said excitedly.
"Already? How long was I out?" I asked, rubbing my eyes as they adjusted to the light.
"5 hours." He responded.
"Oh." I whispered to myself. Now I was starting to panic. I didn't have anywhere to stay. I couldn't live with my family or friends because Jack would most definitely find out, but then again I couldn't be homeless either.
Then plane sped onto the runway and before I knew it, I was walking into the Melbourne airport, ready to collect my luggage.
Noah and Alex came with me because we weren't ready to say goodbye yet.
While the suitcases moved passed my eyes, I called different hotels that surrounded the area, none of which had any room for me.
It was almost Christmas which meant that all the hotels were booked out. That was when I started to really panic. My breathing got faster and my eyes became glossy. All I wanted to do was cry. I have had such a stressful day, having no place to live is the last thing I need right now.
My suitcase appeared along the belt and I grabbed it, placing it onto the ground.
"I guess it's time to say goodbye." Noah said sadly, looking me in the eyes.
"Woah woah woah woah woah, what's wrong?"
He asked, as he placed is hands on my shoulders. I sniffled before smiling.
"Nothing, Nothing I'm fine."
"Sammy, you're not fine. Tell me what's wrong." He calmly said, making me feel safe.
I stared at the ground before sighing.
"I don't have anywhere to live." I mumbled, ashamed.
Noah laughed before lifting my chin up.
"Why didn't you say anything? You can stay with us." He smiled, nodding his head in the direction of Alex.
"No, no, I don't want to be a pain." I argued.
"Sammy you're staying with me, and that's final." He pouted.
I lightly smiled before pulling him into a hug.
"Thankyou so much....."
