Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 47

(Sammy's POV)
I raced down the stairs jumping the last step as I heard 3 knocks on the door. I grabbed the door handle and pulled it open, sunlight blinding me.
"No I'm his best man!" I heard Daniel say.
"No, I'm his best friend so that means I'm his best man!" Zach argued
"I've known him the longest so I'm his best man!" Jonah snapped back.
"No I am!" Zach yelled.
"No, me!" Daniel screamed.
I heard a few grunting nosies before I could finally match the voices to the faces, and my eyes adjusted to the sun.
"Oh jeez" I sighed, watching Zach tackle Daniel onto the ground.
"You guys are so immature." Corbyn said calmly, before looking at Christina who was next to him, their hands locked in each other's.
Jonah and Tate were together as well, his arm around her shoulder.
"Sammy!" Tate  exclaimed, pulling away from Jonah to give me a hug.
"Heyyy!" I said, embracing her for a few seconds before letting go.
Christina stepped forward and also gave me a hug, complimenting my outfit.
"Come inside!" I said, stepping out of the doorway so they could walk into the house.
I stared at Zach and Daniel with a smirk on my face as they finally let go of each other and stood up, straightening out their shirts.
"Your hairs a little—" I said, stepping towards Daniel, fixing up a little piece of ruffled hair that poked out the side.
"Oh thanks." He said, immediately staring into a nearby window, looking at his reflection.
"You might want to fix your collar up." I said, the smirk growing bigger.
"Why?" He asked, confused.
"No reason, I just want you too look your best." I smiled, walking backwards into the house.
"Roraaaaaa!" Tate squealed, picking up Aurora who was slowly running towards her.
"Antyy Tatte" Aurora said wrapping her little arms around Tate's neck, giggling as Tate kissed her on the forehead.
Jordyn ran up behind Christina and tugged on her pants.
"Jordy!" She said, lifting Jordyn up onto her hip.
Corbyn stroked Jordyns hair before doing the special Why Don't We handshake with Jack, who had just came downstairs.
"I heard you're looking for a best man." Corbyn said, winking at Jack.
Jack laughed before doing the handshake with the rest of the guys, and coming to my side.
There was a short knock on the door and Sydnie entered, smiling as she saw Aurora and Jordyn in the arms of Christina and Tate.
"Hey everyone!" She said, taking off her beanie and stuffing it in her pocket, ruffling her hair.
A chorus of 'heys' and 'hi's' filled the room before it fell silent.
"So you guys all know why you're here—"
"It's gunna be me." I heard Zach loudly whisper to Daniel.
"Not if you can't physically be there." Daniel replied.
"Is that a threat?" Zach whispered back, a smirk on his face.
"Aaachem." Jack fake coughed, smiling.
"Listen, both of us cant decide between the 4 guys and 4 girls to be the best man and maid of honour, sooooo, we decided to create a little competition." Jack said, looking down at me.
"Intriguing." Jonah whispered.
"Wait, you said 4 guys and 4 girls right? Who's the fourth girl." Daniel said, his eyebrows furrowed.
Jack and I looked at each other, contemplating wether or not we should tell Daniel.
Right on cue, there was a knock on the door.
"Oh uh, that must be her." I said, a little nervous. I walked over to the door and opened it slightly, peering out onto the porch.
When I saw who it was I smiled and opened the door fully.
"Hey Ads how are you?" I grinned, pulling her into a hug.
"Tired, but I'm alright!" She beamed.
(Daniels POV)
I recognised that voice instantly.
This can't be happening.
Addie.
The girls' heart that I broke.
I didn't mean it, we just, grew apart.
I was touring, and she was in Australia.
We hardly had anytime to talk to each other, being on opposite sides of the world.
I broke up with her over a text message, the worst possible way, but then again, I couldn't actually physically see her in person.
It was the only way.
Of course I still like her, I've never stopped.
There's not a day that has gone by that I haven't thought about her. She's just, special you know? I miss talking to her, I miss her smile and cute Australian accent that I always heard over FaceTime, I miss her thoughts and good listening skills, as well as her ability to comfort you, even though she is on the other side of the world. I know I want her back, I just don't think she feels the same. I'm such an idiot.
Sammy stepped out of the doorway and let Addie in. Immediately our eyes locked and guilt took over my body. I wanted to drop to my knees and tell her how sorry I was and that I'm a complete idiot, but I didn't want to do it in front of the guys. I needed to get her alone.
Her eyes broke away from mine and I heard her beautiful voice for the first time in months.
"Hey Guys." She said, shyly.
"Addie!" yelled Jonah, Corbyn and Zach.
"We missed you!" Zach said, giving her a hug, followed by everyone else, except me.
I stood back and stared at her.
She is so pretty.
Sammy introduced Addie to Christina, Tate and Sydnie. They seemed to like her, which is good.
"Alright—" Sammy began.
"Now that everyone is uh.. familiar with one another, first things first, we have to pair you all up for the challenges." Sammy said, a weird smile on her face.
"So its Jonah and Tate, Corbyn and Christina, Zach and Syd, and finally, Daniel and Addie." Jack said, looking over to Sammy, the same weird smile on his face.
Yes, this was my chance. My chance to fix things with Addie.
Jonah and Tate fist bumped while Corbyn and Christina high fived. Zach stood next to Sydnie, and I awkwardly stood next to Addie.
I missed her scent. It's not weird.
"Let the games begin....."

Hey guys, sorry I haven't uploaded in forever.
I went on a cruise for a few days, and let me tell ya, I'm never going on one again.
