Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 42

(Sammy's POV)
The plane ride back to LA was pretty crazy.
A few hours after we had taken off, Aurora and Jordyn woke up from their little sleeps, waking me up from mine as well. Jack and I were only just beginning our parenting journey, so we didn't really know how to calm them down, or get them to stop crying. First we tried playing with them, distracting them from their tears, but that didn't seem to work.
Jack and I both got up out of our seats with the babies, and took them into the restroom to change their nappies (diapers), but that wasn't the problem either. Jack and I were clearly both getting stressed, and the passengers were getting irritated, so we spent 15 minutes in the bathroom, playing with them, giving them plastic toys, but in the end, all they needed was a feed. I breastfed them both and they stopped crying instantly, giving Jack and I some relief.
As we both carried a baby in our arms, we made our way back to our seats, letting out a massive sigh. A few old lady's gave me a 'look' but I brushed it off. Being a parent was way harder than I thought.
"You all good?" Daniel asked as we returned to our seats.
"Yeah, look, they're going back to sleep now." I smiled, looking down at Jordyn's little eyelids.
Daniel let out a soft 'aww' before looking down at his phone, scrolling through Instagram edits.

The rest of way back to LA was alright.
The babies were fine, it was just that there was a little bit of turbulence that scared me every now and again. Each time it happened, Jack would hold my hand, looking me in the eyes.
He knew how much I hated flying, especially now considering all my best friends, my daughters and my fiancé are all on the one flight. If this plane went down, my whole life would be over, literally.
I was relieved when the captains voice fell over the plane, informing us that we would be landing soon. I gathered all mine, and the babies things, before the plane starting descending down, and we sped along one of the the LAX runways.
All the passengers clapped as the plane came to a halt, and we let everyone get off before we did. After all, this is LAX which means paparazzi, flashing lights, screaming, noise and fans, we didn't want all the other passengers getting caught up in our fame.
"How are my little bundles of joy?" Zach asked as he pulled out his bag from the overhead locker in the plane.
"They're sleeping." Jack replied, passing Aurora to Corbyn who had already gotten all his things.
"Hey that's not fair I haven't held her yet." Zach whined.
"Zach do you even know which baby that is?" Corbyn added.
"Uh of course that's umm, Aur— no Jor— no Aur— no, that's definitely Jordyn." He mumbled, feeling confident in his answer.
"Wrong." Jonah butted in.
"God dammit they look exactly the same!" Zach shouted, before getting shushed by all the guys.
"Honestly Sammy, I don't know how you tell them apart."
I giggled before responding.
"Look, Aurora has slightly chubbier cheeks than Jordyn." I said, pointing to the baby in Corbyns arms. "And Jordyn has Jacks nose."
"Uh she definitely has your nose." Jack grinned.
"No she doesn't." I teased. "She has my eyes."

As we all walked off the plane we were greeted by security who told us that all the boys families were waiting in a designated area, but that area was surrounded by fans.
I really didn't want to have to deal with fans right now. I was tried, hungry, and I have two babies to look after. I'm not in the mood to take pictures, and the only people I want to be hugging is my LA family.
We gathered all our luggage and made our way out into the public area of the airport.
Corbyn gave Aurora back to Jack, and I was holding Jordyn.
As soon as we walked out, we were engulfed in fans. Jack and I were so overprotective of our babies that we had 4 security guards surrounding us. I didn't want anyone hurting our newborns.
The other guys were open to taking pictures, but Jack and I headed straight for his family.
Kristen, Darrin, John, Sydnie, Ava, Isla and Camila were all waiting with the rest of the Seavey, Besson, Roth Frantzich, and Herrons.
Everyone, including the other guys families, faces turned to goo as they saw us approaching.
Kristen and Sydnie jogged towards us, giving both of us a hug, and taking the babies off our hands. I gave Sydnie Jordyn and Jack gave Aurora to his mum. Both of them starting crying as they looked down at their precious faces.
To be honest, I was extremely nervous coming back here. I thought all his family would hate me.
Isla and Camila ran up to me, and I bobbed down just in time to give them both a hug.
"We missed you!" Isla squealed into my shoulder.
Surprised by her enthusiasm, I smiled and said "I missed you too."
They both let go of me and Ava gave me a long hug, followed by Anna, Ashley, Seva, Esther and Reece. All of the guys' sisters were my best friends, and it was hard being away from them and not talking.
I explained the whole pregnancy situation to everyone and they understood why I left, treating me like I had never been away.
Soon after Jack and I reunited with everyone, the rest of the guys joined us, running into the arms of their families. It was at times like these that I missed my own family, but I was happy to be back in America.
Kristen and Sydnie joined the pack after swooning over the babies, rocking them back and fourth in their arms.
"So how was tour?" Anna asked all of us.
"Amazing." Daniel replied.
"Sick as." Zach responded.
"So cool." Jonah added.
There was one secret that Jack and I had managed to keep from everyone, and I was eager to finally come clean.
Although most of the fans knew, I asked one sibling from each family to keep everyone away from social media and their phones, just while we flew from Melbourne to LA.
We wanted to tell everyone in person.
I winked at Jack and he started a conversation.
"Oh guys, Sammy and I have something we need to tell you all." He began.
"Some of you already know what we're about to say—" I said, looking at Anna, Ashley, Esther, Sydnie and Ryan. "But we wanted to tell you all in person, before the media got to you."
I watched as everyone's face became concerned.
Jack and I looked at each other before I held out my hand displaying the diamond ring on my finger.
Gasps and happy screams came from all the little kids, as well as some of the adults.
"We're engaged!"
