Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 44

{2 years later}
(Sammy's POV)
"Mommy, mommy look what I drawed!" Aurora yelled, her little legs moving quickly towards the couch I was sitting on. She held up a piece of paper with crayon stick figure drawings.
"Aww sweetie that's awesome!" I said, looking down at the 5 'people' she drew.
There was a blue stick figure with a thin body and curly hair, obviously that was Jack. A woman stood next to him, holding his hand in a pink dress, that was obviously me. Next to us there were two little figures, both with long hair and smiles on their faces. Aurora and Jordyn. I looked across to the figure standing next to Jack. It looked like a man, but I didn't know who it was.
"Who's that?" I said, pointing towards the figure.
Aurora looked at the paper before turning back to me.
"That's umncle Noah!" She smiled, batting her eyelashes at me.
Jack came running around the corner with Jordyn in one arm.
He sighed when he saw my sad face.
"Oh babe I'm sorry, I tried to take it from her but she's just to fast. I know that's the last thing you want to see right now, especially since—"
"You should hang this on the fridge Rora."
I said while lightly fake smiling.
Aurora gave me a short hug before running off towards the fridge. Jack put Jordyn down and she ran after her sister, them both giggling as they disappeared out of sight.
I looked down at my hands before I felt a body sink into the couch beside me. Jacks arm made his way around my shoulder, and he pulled me into his chest.
"2 years huh?" He said, his voice muffled because his mouth was on top of my head, his lips kissing my hair.
"Yeah." I whispered. "It feels like only yesterday."
We sat in silence, only the sound of distant giggles echoing through the house.
Once Jack and I got back to LA, we decided that after 6 months of staying with his parents in the apartment complex, it wasn't only not fair for them, but we needed our own space, our own house.
After a few weeks of searching, we finally found the perfect house not too far away from Jacks family and the guys.
It was perfect.
4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a massive kitchen and living area, as well as a study, a play room, a mini recording studio and a huge backyard for the girls, including a pool.
All of us loved the house so we moved in right away. Yeah it was sad leaving all the guys and their families, but it was nice to finally be our own family, with no interruptions or distractions.
Jack was still in the band, writing and recording songs, as well as going on small radio tours. They are working on their next album right now, after releasing a few singles and another EP last year.
I have also been working on songwriting and music. During the sleepless nights when the girls were still newborns, I would jot down lyrics while breastfeeding them, and hum them my new tunes to put them to sleep.
Earlier this year, I recorded and released my own EP called 'Journey' As you can tell by the title, it was all about my journey from being the random school girl in Australia, to one of the most known names in Hollywood.
I've also been auditioning for movie and TV roles because I want to get back into acting again.
My life is great right now, the only thing is, I'm kinda tired of calling Jack my fiancé.
"Have you spoken to Alex yet?" Jack asked, twirling my hair around his finger.
"Yeah, he called me this morning." I replied.
"How's he doing?" Jack questioned.
"Alright I suppose, the movie is still selling out theatres all around the world, the public just can't get enough of Zac Efron." I giggled. "James is also doing really well, he has his first art exhibition this weekend and Alex is so proud."
James was Alex's new boyfriend and they were madly in love with each other. He was an upcoming artist, a really good one too. We have a few of his pieces hanging up around our house, as well as baby photos of the girls, and family photo shoot portraits.
"Well that's good then." Jack said, letting go of a piece of my hair.
Multiple little footsteps neared closer to us and I sat upright as the girls ran towards us.
They both held out their arms and we sat them on our laps, tickling them a little, smiles on all of our faces.
"Did you hang it up?" Jack asked Aurora who was playing with his wedding ring that was on his finger.
She softly nodded before Jack too looked down at the ring.
As I kissed Jordyns little cheeks, Jack glanced up from his hands and looked me in the eyes.
"I wanna get married." He said, almost reading my mind. "The girls are old enough and I'm dying to call you my wife." He grinned.
I smiled and looked down before nodding.
"Yeah." I said, staring into Jacks eyes.
"Let's get married."
The girls started squealing as we kissed and then tickled them again.
Although today marked the 2 year anniversary of Noah's death, there was nothing that could make me even the slightest bit sad after knowing that finally, after 2 years, I would get to marry the love of my life.
"I guess we should get planning then." Jack said, holding Auroras hands as she fell backwards onto his legs and then pulling her back up, the giggles warming my heart.
"I guess we should." I agree.
"Jordy, Rora, would you do me the honour of being my flower girls?" I asked, pouting my lip, knowing they would say yes if they saw I was sad.
"Yeah!" Jordyn screamed.
"Mmm Hmm." Aurora nodded, her fingers in her mouth.
"Yay!" I exclaimed, kissing both of them on their little lips and then giving Jack one long kiss on his lips.
"Who's going to be your bridesmaids?" Jack asked as I pulled back from the kiss.
"Oh uh, I haven't really given it much thought."
I replied.......
