Chapter 48

(Sammy's POV)
"Let the games begin!" I exclaimed, eager to know who my maid of honour would be.
Aurora and Jordyn clapped their hands and giggled to each other.
"The first challenge—" Jack began, a smile on his face. "Is who can change the baby the fastest, you never know when one of these two could pull a stinker." He said, looking down at Aurora and Jordyn, who were sitting on the floor.
"Oh we got this easy!" Jonah cheered, fist bumping Tate.
"We'll see about that." Corbyn replied, giving Christina a look.
Jonah and Tate, and Corbyn and Christina, were the most 'parent like' couples in the game. If anyone were to win this challenge, it would be them.
Zach looked at Sydnie with complete confusion on his face, and Daniel and Addie didn't look at each other at all. I really hope they figure things out.
"Okay so, first up is Daniel and Addie, and Jonah and Tate." I said.
Jack pulled out two change tables that were hiding around the corner and set them next to each other, a few meters away from where we were all standing.
"You have to carry Jordyn or Aurora to the change table, take off their clothes, take off their diapers and put a new one on, then finally change them back into their clothes." Jack said, glaring at everyone.
"Easy." Jonah said.
"Ready? 3 2 1 GO!" I said, giving them no time what so ever to prepare, clicking the start button on my phone stopwatch.
Immediately, Tate ran over to Aurora and picked her up, Jonah following behind her.
Christina did the same thing to Jordyn, Corbyn sprinting ahead towards the change table, getting the diaper ready.
At the same time, Tate and Christina set down both of the babies, undressing them as fast as they could.
"10 seconds down!" I yelled, watching Tate struggle with the buttons on Auroras onesie.
When I looked over at Christina, she was already taking off Jordyns diaper, Corbyn ready to put a new one on.
"20 seconds!" Jack said, laughing as Zach covered his eyes. Seeing the babies naked was new to him, considering he never helped out with changing them.
By the time Tate and Jonah had gotten Auroras diaper off, Corbyn and Christina were doing up the last button on Jordyns onesie.
"Done!" They both exclaimed.
"38 seconds! Good job guys, that's going to be tough to beat." I said, watching Zach and Sydnie stretching as if this was a running race.
Jonah and Tate let out an angry moan, retuning Aurora to where she originally sat on the floor, Christina did the same.
"Now it's your turn." Jack said, looking towards Zach, Sydnie, Daniel and Addie.
"3 2 1 GO! Ha that's fun." He said, once again not giving them any time to prepare.
Zach and Sydnie ran towards Jordyn while Daniel and Addie ran towards Aurora, not speaking at all.
They picked the twins up and headed for the change tables.
After 20 seconds, it was clear which team was going to win.
"Zach you put it on backwards!" Sydnie yelled, taking off Jordyns diaper.
"Shoot! How was I supposed to know!" He yelled back.
"Don't drop her!" I yelled to Zach, just as Daniel and Addie we're finishing.
"Done!" They both said.
"36 seconds!" Jack exclaimed. "We have our first winners!"
"Yess!" Daniel and Addie both hissed, giving each other a hug.
I don't think they realised what they were doing because after a few short seconds, they awkwardly pulled apart.
I grinned to myself as they both blushed and looked down towards their feet.
"What's the next challenge?" Zach whined, giving Sydnie a dirty 'you made us loose' look.
"Okay okay, the next task is about how well you know us."
"Oh I got this in the bag!" Jonah said.
"We'll see." Corbyn replied.
Usually Corbyn and Jonah weren't ones to compete against each other, but this bought out the competitive side of them.
We all sat down on the couch, Jack and I in the middle.
"So the first team to shout out the answer gets a point for their team, there are 10 questions so the couple with the most points wins." I said, grabbing out 5 que cards from my back butt pocket.
My eyes scanned over the first question before I began speaking.
"Where did Jack and I first meet?"
"LOGANS HOUSE!" Jonah yelled, cutting off Zach. "LO— damnnit."
"One point to Jatum!" I exclaimed, looking at Jack who had the next question.
"Okay, when did Sammy and I have our first kiss?" Jack said, blushing.
"THE MALL!" Zach screamed, obviously not thinking about his answer.
"THE FORMAL!" Addie exclaimed.
"One point to—" Jack snickered and laughed before finishing his sentence. "Daddie."
Zach looked like he was going to explode, he was laughing so hard that his cheeks were turning bright red.
Daniel and Addie had a little laugh, but then went quiet once they realised we had given them a ship name when they weren't dating.
"Moving on." I said, cutting the awkward tension. "This should be easy, where did Jack propose?"
"THE MALL" Zach screamed again.
Sydnie slapped him before yelling "THE MELBOURNE CONCERT!"
"One point to—"
This time Zach snickered. He knew what was coming. I sighed before saying "Sach."
"Maybe it should be Zydnie." Jack said, shaking his head, but also smiling at Zach.
"Uh I think Sach is much better." Zach replied.
All of us shook our heads and continued on with the game.

After 7 other rounds the winners ended up being Corbyn and Christina.
Jonah and Tate were kinda mad, but they got over it quickly.
"The final round is 'Who's more likely to.' If Jonah and Tate win, then we go into a tie breaker, cause we all know, no offence, that Zach and Syd won't win." Jack said kinda hesitant. He didn't want to upset his sister, but then again, she knew how much of a dumbass Zach is. I think she had given up after the first round.
"Okay, Who's more likely to forget the babies in the mall?"
"Probably me—" Zach said, talking to himself.
"JACK" Jonah yelled, on the edge of his seat.
"Correct!" I said.
"Who's more likely to get into a car accident?"
Jack said, asking a tough, but kinda obvious question.
"JACK" Daniel yelled.
"JA— NO— SAMMY" Christina said.
"Correct Christina! After all, I've been in like 2 already."

This game went on for a while and Jonah and Tate finally ended up winning.
"Now for the tie breaker." Jack said, all mysterious.
"Only Jonah, Tate, Addie, Daniel, Corbyn and Christina can play, sorry Zach and Syd.
I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 10."
"Oh jeez." Jonah said.
"The pressure!" Daniel said, wiping away 'sweat' from his forehead.
"You can only say one number between the couple. I'll give you a second to discuss."
Each pair turned to each other, whispering possible numbers.
Jack and I stared into each other's eyes, we both new the number. The number represented a date. A date that changed our lives forever.
"Everyone ready?" I asked.
Each couple looked at us, nodding their heads.
"3" Jatum said together.
"8" Corbina said.
"5" Daddie whispered.
Jack and I smiled at each other.
"We have our best man and maid of honour." I smiled.
"Congrats....."
