Please Don't Forget Me....
Chapter 41

(Sammy's POV)
Tears flowed down my face as I watched Jack get down on one knee. I knew what was coming, but I had a few doubts.
I was 18 years of age and Jack was 19.
Are we too young to get married?
What would our family's say?
How are the press and the fans going to respond?
Will we be badly criticised by the public?
Is marriage going to effect our careers?
What if we're rushing into this and a few weeks after the wedding we get in a fight then want to divorce each other?
All these doubts rushed through my head, but then the positive thoughts wormed their way in.
Marriage could be the best thing for our family right now, and we don't have to get married straight away. Maybe we could stay engaged for a few years, just until the girls are old enough to walk. I would love for them to walk me down the isle.
"Samantha Adele Kelley, will you make me the h-happiest man on Earth, and marry me?" Jack said, his voice a little jumpy because of the tears in his throat.
Seeing him crying made me cry even more.
I was about to open my mouth and give him an answer before a loud voice beamed through the venue, making me jump a little.
"STOP!" The voice shouted.
I knew exactly who it was.
Looking out into the crowd, a frown on my face, I spotted Noah right in the middle.
"YOU CAN NOT MARRY HIM! I AM THE ONE THAT IS TO MARRY YOU! SAMMY BABY, DONT DO THIS TO ME, YOU LOVE ME, I KNOW YOU DO, AND I LOVE YOU! I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY, WE HAVE A FAMILY TOGETHER, A WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL FAMILY! MY GIRLS AND YOU, MEAN THE WORLD TO ME, LET ME BE THE ONE TO HOLD YOU AT NIGHT, TO LOVE AND CHERISH YOU FOREVER!" He screamed, pushing his way through loads of girls, trying to get to the front of the stage.
Mine and Jacks jaw dropped.
This guy was insane.
Who does he think he is, claiming to have a family with me, claiming that I love him, claiming that he loves me.
This is ridiculous.
"S—SSAMM—MMYY" his voice beamed, slurs attached to his words.
He was drunk.
"S—SSAMM—MMYY WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
Noah got down on one knee, inches from the stage, drool falling from his mouth, sliding down his clothes.
I looked at him in disgust and fear.
"Security!" Daniel yelled, motioning to two large guys dressed in black.
"ANSWER ME" Noah yelled, startling me.
Jack got up off the ground and put one of his hands on my back, the other around my stomach. He lightly pulled me backwards as Noah neared the stage, reaching out for me.
"WILL YOU MARRY ME SAMMY!" He repeated, anger appearing on his face.
The security reached him and began pulling him out of the crowd.
He fought to get out of their grip, but the guards were too strong.
Noah moaned and shouted as he was taken out of the venue.
"No." I said, looking at his face one last time before he disappeared behind a door.
The crowd murmured as all the attention was focused back on Jack and I.
I didn't know what just happened.
Why was Noah acting insane?
He was such a caring, sweet guy. He never showed any signs of insanity.
That was when I realised, he, was dying.
Maybe the crazyness wasn't actually him, it was the disease.
Jack stared into my eyes for a moment and then smiled.
"Right—" he began. "Where were we?"
I giggled as he got back down on one knee and the crow went wild again.
"Samantha Adele Kelley, will you make me the happiest man on Earth, and marry me?"
I smiled the biggest smile you've ever seen, as a tear rolled down my cheek.
I nodded as I bent down to kiss him.
"Yes" I whispered, just before our lips connected.
Cheering and screaming filled my ears, as Jack lifted me up and spun me around in a few circles.
The guys surround us as we pulled back and rested our foreheads together, smiling intensely.
"I love you." Jack whispered.
"I love you too." I whispered back.
-
"Is that everything?" Jack asked as we packed suitcases into the back of an Uber.
"Yep, I'm pretty sure that's everything." I replied, slamming down the trunk.
"Do you think Noah will do anything bad?" Jack asked.
"He knew this day was coming, I had to leave sooner or later." I sighed, walking around to the back seat and buckling up Aurora in her car seat.
"Do you know when he'll get back from the hospital?" Jack questioned, buckling up Jordyn.
"Alex flew in last night, I'm sure he'll be right by Noah's side, up until the day he....the day
he—"
"Yeah." Jack said, cutting me off, leaving my sentence unfinished.
He kissed my cheek and I took one last look at the Eureka Skydeck before I got inside the car, sitting in between my sleeping babies.
"Where too?" The driver asked.
"Melbourne Airpirt please." Jack answered.
"It's time to go home."
I smiled at him and then stared down at my diamond engagement ring.
It was perfect.
Jack was perfect.
My daughters were perfect.
Everything was finally good in my life.
Yeah the world freaked out once they knew I was a Mum and Jack was a Dad, but they got over it once they found out we were engaged.
Somehow getting engaged shows maturity and 'proves' that we are responsible enough to have children at such a young age. I mean financially, we are stable. Between Jack and I, we have enough money to last us 3 lifetimes, and once the girls get older, I can go back into acting. For now, I'm going to be a full time stay at home Mum, writing songs and recording them when I have spare time.
Jack talked it through with his management, and he is still able to preform and go on tours.
Now that the 8 letters tour is over, the guys will start to get back into the studio, which is great for our family because I can take the girls with me, and be with Jack.
We've decided to wait with the whole marriage thing. We want the girls to be a little older so that they have a chance to remember the ceremony, and to be honest, I kinda like calling Jack my fiancé.
As the Uber pulled up outside the airport, we were greeted by the rest of the guys.
Immediately Daniel went to unbuckle Aurora and Corbyn went to Jordyn.
They loved the babies so much, it made my heart melt. It also gave Jack and I some rest time.
Once we had gotten all our luggage, we made our way into the airport, through security and onto the plane. Relieved, I slumped down in my seat, Jack next to me. He held my hand as the plane started moving and we were off into the air. Aurora and Jordyn had fallen asleep in the arms of Daniel and Corbyn, giving us, and the rest of the passengers, some peace and quiet.
I stared out the window, looking down at the city below me. I wasn't going to be back in Australia for a while, so this was my goodbye for now. As I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I reflected on the last 9 months.
Yeah they were pretty crazy, but everything worked out in the end....
