Please Don't Forget Me
Chapter 50
{Final Chapter}(Jacks POV)
"Are you ready bro?" Corbyn asks, putting his hand on my shoulder.
I break out of a blank stare towards my reflection in the mirror, and blink a few times.
"I think so." I reply in a whisper, turning around to face him.
He looks at my face and then down at my tie.
A smile forms across his lips, as his hands straighten up the black tie against my chest, and folds over my white shirt collar.
"Are you nervous?" He asked, taking a step back, examining me from head to toe.
"Yeah, a little." I reply, my mind going crazy, filling with doubt.
Doubt that something will go wrong during the wedding. Doubt that Sammy might not show up. Doubt that I'll make a fool of myself somehow.
"Jack? Jaaaaack?" Corbyn said calmly, breaking my trance.
I moved my head and blinked to show that I was focused.
"Are you okay? You look a little pale." He said, his face showing some concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I smiled, reassuring him. Mentally, I was hyping myself up for one of the biggest days of my life, trying to shake the pre-wedding nerve jitters.
"Are you all good?" I asked Corbyn, noticing that he was feeling around in his pockets.
"Uh yeah." He said, continuing to put his hands in all of the pockets his suit jacket had to offer.
"Christina must have the rings." He muttered to himself.
I gave him a weird look, but then relaxed my face, knowing that Corbyn was the most trustworthy person I know, and I knew that he wouldn't loose the rings.
He looked down at his watch and then back up at me.
"We have an hour until it starts, let's get you down to the venue." He smiled, patting my shoulder.
Together we exited the spare bedroom, passing Sammy and I's bedroom. I was so tempted to peak inside and see her, but I knew it was bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her dress before the wedding.
We walked down the stairs and were greeted by Jonah, Daniel and Zach.
Jonah was tying Zachs tie and Daniel was once again, re-positioning a single strand of hair on his head.
"Lookin good guys!" I exclaimed, gazing at their suits.
They all looked up at me and smiled, individually grabbing my hand to do our Why Don't We handshake.
"We could say the same about you!" Jonah said, scanning me from head to toe, grinning.
"Sammy's going to freak when she sees you!" Daniel said, finally leaving his hair alone.
"Hopefully." I said, taking a breath.
"Let's go!" Corbyn said, pushing me towards the door.
"Stop that tickles!" I laughed, reaching down, putting on my shoes.
Jonah, Corbyn and Zach moved past me, rushing towards the car that was waiting for us, calling out 'shotgun' and lightly pushing each other out of the way.
Daniel and I laughed as Jonah literally pulled Zach out of the front passenger seat and sat down himself, slamming the door in Zachs face.
"Are you ready to become a husband?" Daniel asked.
I smiled, thinking about how our family will finally be complete, and that Sammy will be my wife.
"I was born ready." I grinned, tying the final loop of shoelace, walking out of the house, and getting into the car with my groomsmen....(Sammy's POV)
"Let's do this." I said, grabbing Christina's hand. She smiled and lead me out of the room.
The house was almost silent, so I knew Jack and the guys had already left.
Tate and Addie were at the bottom of the stairs spinning Aurora and Jordyn around in their arms.
Sydnie locked up any doors that lead into the house and joined us.
"Oh Christina do you have the rings?" I asked, slipping on my heels.
