Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 25

(Jacks POV)
I stepped forward, tears in my eyes, my hands shaking. The deep breaths coming from my body filled my ears as my mouth quivered, opening and closing as I tried to talk.
A girl was standing at the reception desk, her back towards us. A guy that looked exactly like Noah was leaning against the desk facing directly towards me. He was looking down at a strip of paper that was in his hands before he glanced up at us. I watched as his face turned from a peach colour, to white. Slowly, he lightly nudged the girl next to him. She finished her conversation with the desk assistant before looking at the guy, the front of her body hidden. Although I could only see half of her face, I knew it was her. She gave Noah a puzzled look, wondering why he looked like he'd seen a ghost.
"S—S—Sammy?" I said, my voice breaking as tears slid down my face.
The light smile she had on her face instantly fell, and I could see the fear in her eyes.
She knew I was here, but kept her face pointed at Noah, not daring to look at me.
There was a moment of stillness. No one moved. No one said anything. Us 5 watched Sammy as Sammy watched Noah and Noah watched us. It was a circle of stares. Everything around us seemed to disappear, as if we were the only ones in the room.
Sammy was the first one to make a move.
She grabbed Noah's upper arm and quickly walked off in the opposite direction, hobbling.
Hobbling? She wasn't walking normally, it was like she'd broken her leg or something.
For a second I doubted wether or not I should run after her, but of course I did. I wasn't going to loose her again. Not like this. Just as I was about to chase after her, Daniel grabbed my arm, knowing what I was about to do.
"Bro let go of me." I said, as I tried to yank my arm free of his grip. Daniel looked at me wide eyed. "Jack I'm begging you please don't go after her." Daniel pleaded, gripping my arm even tighter.
"What? Are you kidding me?" I said, dumbfounded. "After 8 months of trying to find her, you expect me not to go after her?"
"Jack I know you want answers but there's something you don't know—" Daniel said quickly as I ripped my arm free, sprinting ahead of me. My breathing and heart rate was so intense that I could hear and feel the pounding in my head, keeping to the rhythm of my strides. As I jogged through a crowd of people, my eyes darted from face to face, trying to locate Sammy. She was wearing a white dress that was made out of very flowy and stretchy material. I've never seen anything like that on her, it looked like something my Mom would wear. As I bumped into various different people, I finally spotted Sammy heading for an exit at the back of the hospital.
"JACK STOP!" Daniel yelled and I turned my head as I was jogging. Corbyn and Daniel were fast approaching me, whilst Jonah carried Zach not far behind them. They were light pushing their way through the people, but I got to Sammy before they could get to me.
I slowed my pace as I neared her, softly grabbing onto her hips, spinning her around to face me, my right hand on her lower back.
My watery eyes looked into hers and we had a little moment before the rest of the guys came up behind me.
"Oh my god." Zach whispered.
"Sammy you're—"
She broke eye contact with me and looked down at what I thought was the ground, but I was wrong. I too looked down, and as I did my eyes winded, my heart dropped and my stomach churned.
"Pregnant." I whispered, finishing Zachs sentence. Her stomach was massive.
My jaw fell open as I looked at Noah who was by Sammy's side. He looked at me, and then at her stomach. That was when everything clicked in my head, and I took a step back from her.
"No." I said, tears running down my cheek.
"No no no. It can't be."
Sammy's face screwed up as her eyes filled with tears, her lip and hands shaking.
"You didn't." I said, completely in shock.
"You and— and him?" I stuttered, my breathing increasing. I thought I was going to have a panic attack or something.
I backed well away from Sammy before speaking and running off.
(Sammy's POV)
"I don't want to see you ever again." Jack softly yelled. "You're dead to me."
He turned on his heel and ran the opposite direction, as I broke down and collapsed on the floor. My whole face was covered in tears as I sobbed into my arms. Noah bobbed down beside me, running his hand up and down my back. "It's alright, it's alright." He said, trying to calm me down. I looked up at Daniel who was sitting on a cushioned bench, his head in his hands. Jonah, Zach and Corbyn stared wide eyes at me, confusion on their faces.
"I tried." Daniel cried, lifting his face from his hands. "I tried, I really did, I'm so sorry Sammy."
"You knew!?" Zach shouted, a little louder than he anticipated. Daniel shamefully nodded his head, his eyes focused on the floor.
"You knew she was pregnant with his kid and you didn't tell us, or Jack?" Jonah yelled, pointing at Noah. "What? No guys that's not—" Daniel began, before being cut off.
"Woah woah woah woah woah woah." Noah said, crossing his hands back and fourth. "I'm her best friend, JUST her best friend."
Corbyn, Jonah and Zach have each other puzzled looks. "What do you mean you're just her friend, you got her pregnant." Corbyn said blankly.
"No guys you've got this all wrong." I said, standing up. "Noah isn't the father of my babies—" I firmly said, before pausing and taking a deep sigh. "Jack is......"

Yeet, did I make you cry? I know I almost did.
