Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 21
(Sammy's POV)
"The reason I ran is because—I—I'm kinda— pregnant." I whispered, staring down at my hands, not daring to look at Noah.
There was a few seconds of silence before I saw his hand move to my knee. I looked up into his eyes. He had a light smile on his face, while I had a frown. I felt so disappointed in myself.
Why did I let myself get into this mess?
"Sammy—" Noah began. "That's amazing."
I furrowed my eyebrows at him.
"Amazing? How is this amazing? I'm pregnant for god sakes, and I'm 17!" I softly yelled, burying my face in my hands. "My life is over."
I heard his body shift next to mine so we were sitting side by side, our legs on the edge of the bed. He wrapped one arm around my left shoulder, the other hand was still on my left knee. "Your life isn't over." He whispered, lightly stroking my right shoulder. "It's only just beginning."
I blankly chuckled for a second. "I wish that was true." I said, lifting my face out of my palms, staring out into the sky.
"It is true. I've heard motherhood is the greatest thing in the world." He said, looking at the side of my face as I was looking forwards.
"And I don't doubt that, it's just I want to have a life. I want to continue my acting and singing career, without any disruptions." I sighed.
"You can still do that and be a Mum." Noah said, hopefully.
"It's going to be hard to have a life and be single mother. I said, my eyes filling up with tears. I couldn't see his full face, but from the corner of my eye I could see him looking confused, and I knew why.
"Wait, a single Mum? Who's the father?" He asked, intensely staring at me.
"Jack." I whispered, not moving my eyes from a single cloud suspended in the air.
"Hold on, Jack said he doesn't want the baby?"
Noah questioned, breaking my heart.
I took a little breath and looked down at my hands before turning my head to the left, looking into Noah's eyes. "I-I haven't told him."
I whisper mumbled. His face said it all, I thought he was going to rip my head off and yell at me. He stood up and paced back and fourth. "I know I'm so stupid." I cried, tears slipping out from the corners of my eyes, rolling down my cheeks, leaving wet spots on the sheets of the bed.
"You have to tell him." He softly yelled.
"No, no I can't! It will ruin his career. He'll be painted as the teenage dad in a boyband, I don't want him to be labeled like that!" I yelled, standing up. Noah was still pacing back and fourth, his hands on his head. There was a minute of silence between us, Noah's footstep the only sound. "Say something." I said.
He stopped and looked at me.
"I think you should tell him, he deserves to know." He replied.
"I know, and I will." I lied. "Just not now."
He returned to the bed and I sat next to him.
"You aren't going to tell him are you?" I asked.
"No, it's not my place to say anything." He responded. A wave of relief ran over me.
"Thankyou." I whispered.
"But—" he began. "I want you to live here, up until you're ready to take care of the baby by yourself. I can help you take care of it."
I thought about it for a second before lightly smiling at him. "That would be amazing." I said, engulfing him in a hug. "Thankyou so much."
He giggled before pulling back.
"Oh I need your help today." I said.
"Sure, what are we doing." He asked.
"How are you at photography?" I asked.
"Alright, why?" He questioned.
I handed him a professional camera from my suitcase and placed it around his neck.
"This should be fun." I smiled.

I explained my photo plan to keep my pregnancy a secret and we walked along the streets of Melbourne together, trying to find good places to take a few photos. I carried a bag full of different outfits and makeup so I could look different in each location. As the sun began to set, we headed back to the penthouse for one last photoshoot. I stood in front of the the glass window, the city below me and the sky painted a series of pinks and oranges.
"You look amazing." Noah smiled as his eye was looking through the lenses of the camera.
"Thanks." I smiled, looking down.
I heard a click from the camera.
"That was perfect!" Noah exclaimed, walking up to me, showing me the screen.
"Wow you're good, you should consider a career in photography." I suggested.
"It's all you." He smiled.
I blushed before taking the camera from him.
I got out my laptop and transferred the photos from the camera into the computer, looking over the hundreds of shots from today.
Noah sat down next to me and looked through them as well. Most of the photos looked amazing, definitely Instagram worthy.
My plan to keeping my pregnant was finally in action, and I was glad I had Noah's help.
I looked at him before pulling out my phone.
"Come here." I said, sliding my phone to the camera, holding it out in front of me.
"What oh no I look so bad." He said, covering his face. "You look fine!" I giggled, removing his hands from his face. "Whatever." He said, playfully rolling his eyes. He moved closer to me, putting his head against mine.
"Smile!" I said, looking at our faces on the screen. Noah made a funny look and I laughed, pressing my finger on the button.
Moving my phone towards me, we both looked at the photo. Noah was cross eyed while I was in the middle of laughing. "Good enough." I smiled, opening Instagram.
"Wait I get to be on your Instagram?" He asked. "Of course." I replied.
"Woah, I'm honoured."
I softly punched his shoulder before captioning the photo "basically our friendship."
I showed Noah and he laughed.
"What's your @?" I asked.
"@noah
"Thanks." I said, tagging him in the photo.
"Be prepared to gain 100,000 followers." I laughed, although I was serious.
"Shit okay." He nervously laughed, not knowing if I was being real or not.
I posted the photo and within a second it already had 20,000 likes.
"Oh my god, look!" Noah yelled, excitedly.
He went from 3,000 followers to 10,000 in literally 10 seconds. His DM's started blowing up. People were asking 'are you and Sammy dating?' 'Who are you?' 'Why are you with Sammy?' 'Where is Jack?' 'Did Sammy cheat on Jack.' 'Stay away from Sammy, she's Jacks.'
All the DM's hit me in the heart.
"I won't say anything." Noah said.
I nodded and turned my phone off before heading to bed. Noah did the same.
We said goodnight to each other before going to our own bedrooms. I got changed into my pyjamas and slipped into bed.
'This was going to be my life for the next 9 months.' I thought. 'It should be fun.....'
