Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 20

(Sammy's POV)
I was awoken to she sound of Noah and Alex screaming. Immediately, I ripped off the warm silk sheets, my legs feeling the cold, crisp air.
My feet touched the cold hardwood floor and I grabbed a pillow off my bed, just in case there was an intruder and I needed to suffocate them. My drowsy body made its way to the door, and out into a small hallway. I ran out into the living area where the elevator was, expecting to see a robber in a black mask with a gun, but in reality, Noah and Alex were jumping up and down, massive smiles on their faces. "Oh my god you scared me." I said, taking a breath of relief, dropping the pillow on the floor. "I thought we were getting robbed."
Alex wiped away tears from his eyes before speaking. "Guess who got a job, assistant directing the new Zac Efron movie!"
"No way!!" I squealed, leaping onto Alex, engulfing him in a hug. We spun around in a few circles before he set me back down on the ground.
"I'm so proud of you!" Noah smiled, giving Alex a hug, patting his back. "And so would Mum."
They pulled back and looked at each other sadly for a moment. "When do you leave?"
I asked, breaking the tension.
"Today." Alex said, looking down at his feet.
"Woah woah woah woah woah today? You didn't tell me that." Noah said, a concerned look on his face.
"I didn't want to." Alex replied. "I don't want to leave you by yourself." He sighed. "I don't think I should go."
"What Alex no. This is your dream! You've worked so hard to be where you are now, you're not giving it up because of me." Noah, commanded. "You're going, I'll be fine by myself. Go pack."
Alex gave Noah a worried look before walking off into the hallway, disappearing from our view. Noah walked towards the edge of the apartment, staring through the glass window that displayed the city below. I could tell he was sad. Alex was his best friend, his brother.
It would be hard letting him go. I walked over to Noah, placing my hand on his shoulder as I too, looked down at the city. "You alright?"
I asked. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine." He smiled, looking down, hiding is watery eyes.
"It's alright, you'll be okay." I said softly, rubbing his shoulder. Noah sniffled.
"It's just that, he's my little brother and we've always done everything together. He helped me through mums deaths, even though I should have helped him, I'm the eldest. He's my responsibility. I just don't want to let him go, all alone. What if something bad happens to him?" He stuttered whilst wiping his eyes.
"Noah, you need to let Alex be his own person, sure he's only 16 but I can tell that he has the maturity of a 25 year old. Trust me, he'll be fine by himself. You can't be with him forever."
He slowly nodded. "You're right. I guess I just need to give him space. He's a bloody smart kid, he should be okay."
I smiled at him before walking back to my room and having a shower. Today was photoshoot day. I need to get a bunch of pictures for my Instagram that I can post over the next 9 months. It was going to be a lot of work, but I thought this could be a way to get Noah's mind off Alex. By the time I had had a shower, dried my hair, got dressed and finished my makeup, Alex was all packed for the airport. Turns out he booked the next flight to LA, which left in 3 hours. I gave him a hug as the taxi driver loaded his bags into the boot of the car. "Don't have too much fun!" I smiled. "Oh and it would be greatly appreciated if you could get me Zac Efrons number." I winked.
"I'll try." He laughed, and engulfed Noah in a long hug. Not gunna lie, I teared up a little.
It was so cute how much they loved each other, I could tell they had been through so much together. The driver slammed the boot of the car and got in the front. Alex and Noah pulled back, tears in both of their eyes.
"I'll miss you." Noah said. "I'll miss you too." Alex replied. Noah ruffled Alex's hair before stepping back onto the pavement.
"Oh Sammy!" Alex whispered, calling me over to him. "Can you stick around for a while?" He asked. "Just until he's okay with being by himself."
"Sure." I nodded. "I'm not going anywhere."
He smiled at me before getting in the car.
I stepped back onto the pavement next to Noah and waved goodbye as the taxi joined the traffic. We stood there until we couldn't see the taxi anymore, then took the elevator back to the penthouse. As I got off the elevator my stomach turned. "Oh no." I said, covering my mouth. "What?" Noah asked.
Before I could answer, I ran into my room and collapsed at the side of the toilet, letting out nothing but fluid. Footsteps fast approached behind me. "Oh my god Sammy." Noah gasped, bobbing down next to me as I coughed. He held back my hair as I wiped my mouth with toilet paper and flushed away my insides. I felt his stare as I washed my hands. "That's the second time in 2 days. Sammy, are you okay?"
In my mind I knew I had to tell him, if I was staying in his house, I needed to be honest with him. Besides, I could be staying here up until the baby is born, he is going to find out one way or another. I grabbed his hand and we sat down on my bed. "Sammy—" he began.
"You have to promise me you'll never ever tell anyone what I'm about to say to you." I blurted out. "I-I promise." He stuttered. "What's going on?" I took a breath and looked him in the eyes. "I-I-I haven't been completely honest with you Noah." I said softly. "Things didn't exactly work out with Jack because, because I ran away." I muttered. "The reason I ran is because—I—I'm kinda— pregnant..."
