Chapter 45

(Sammy's POV)
So many names were running through my mind. I had so many close girl friends that I would love to have by my side as I get married.
My friends back home in Australia, Jacks sisters, all the guys' girlfriends. There were so many people I could consider, but I knew I could only choose 4, that was what Jack and I decided earlier in the year.
"Who are you asking to be your groomsmen?" I asked Jack, while straightening up Jordyns little dress.
"Well, obviously all the guys. I don't have a brother, and they are the closest thing to family I have. If it weren't for them, I probably wouldn't be getting married to you."
He smiled, putting his hand on my thigh.
We sat in silence for a minute, watching the girls mumble to each other.
"I was thinking maybe Sydnie, Tatum, Christina and Addie." I said softly, questioning my options.
"Oh yeah I forgot about Addie." Jack mumbled while kissing Auroras head. "How is she, you know, after the whole Daniel thing?"
"Mmm alright I think, I talked to her the other day, and she's still caught up on him, I don't blame her, Daniel treated her like a queen."
I sighed.
"Wait, she's still not over him?" Jack asked, a grin forming on his face.
"Yeah, that's what she told me. Why are you smiling like that?" I questioned, a little confused.
"You have to invite her." Jack said suspiciously.
"I have a feeling we won't be the only ones walking out hand in hand after the wedding."
My jaw dropped and then turned into a smile as I caught onto what Jack was saying.
We were going to get Daniel and Addie back together. The only reason they broke up was because Daniel was touring and they didn't have enough time to talk. He was crushed and so was she, but I know from personal experience that living on the opposite side of the world messes with all your relationships.
It would be great to see them back together.
"Wait what about Ebony? I thought she was your best friend?" Jack asked.
"She is, but if Zach is attending this wedding, then she definitely will not." I said, raising my eyebrows.
"Oh right, she's still mad?" He asked.
"Furious." I responded.
After Zach and Ebony started talking again, they got back together, but that only lasted a few weeks. Zach went to a party and people from that party posted Instagram story's of him surrounded by a bunch of girls.
A rumour was spread around that he slept with one of them, which was definitely not true.
Ebony soon found out and ended things before Zach could tell her the truth.
"Mommy I'm hungwee" Jordyn whined, releasing herself from my grip and running over into the kitchen.
I followed her immediately, just incase she tried to get her own food.
Jack stood up with Aurora in his arms, carrying her like a baby as she giggled.
He sat her down on the bench and then lifted Jordyn up next to her.
Together the girls watched as jack and I cut up some fruit for them, throwing grapes at one another, trying to score one in our mouths.
We acted like 5 year olds sometimes, but the girls loved it. They laughed as we messed around, clapping every time a grape landed in either of our mouths.
We love having fun with our children, and always will. We don't want to be one of those strict couples who don't let their kids enjoy themselves. As long as they don't get into any sort of trouble, we won't be harsh on them.
The only thing we aren't letting them do, is have social media. Not as in forever, we just want them to be old enough to know how to deal with hate and online trolls. We both know from personal experience that bulling can impact your life severely, and it's not fun. I don't want to see my daughters sad or hurt from other jealous people.
After we cut up some fruit for the girls, we sat them down in front of the TV and put on a Barbie movie for them. Barbie and the Diamond Castle was their favourite, so they were easily entertained.
Jack and I sat down in the kitchen together, and started all the long and stressful wedding planning. We wanted to get married in about a month, just so we have time to prepare for everything. To start, we looked through hundreds of venues. From churches to beaches to gardens to riversides, after hours of searching we finally found the perfect place to say 'I do.'
I was already tired and it was only the first step. Luckily for me, the movie was now over and the girls were getting restless.
I got up and stretched before making the
girls some dinner and then watched as they coloured in some pictures while we continued planning. We called the venue and booked out the date that we wanted before finalising our bridesmaids and groomsmen.
"Okay so you're positive that you want Sydnie, Christina, Tatum and Addie." Jack asked, a pen in his hand, ready to jot down any details in a notebook.
"Positive." I assured him, lightly smiling.
"Are you're sure you want Zach, Corbyn, Jonah and Daniel?" I asked.
"Positive." He also responded, lightly nodding.
"Well I guess it's offical then, oh wait, which one of them is going to be your best man?" I asked, the thought of having a best man slipping my mind.
"Oh shoot I have no idea?" He said, resting his head in his hands.
"Who's going to be your maid of honour?" He asked, his voice muffled.
I let out as sigh as the 3 names ran through my head. I couldn't pick one, they were all my best friends.
"Isn't their some way we could let them decide?" I asked, contemplating wether or not we should even be having a wedding.
The only sound filled the room was the scratching of coloured pencils against the paper Aurora and Jordyn had.
"Mommy can we play a game?" Jordyn asked, setting down her pencil, crawling onto my lap.
Suddenly Jacks head shot up from his hands.
"Jordy you are brilliant!" He exclaimed, standing up and lifting Jordyn out of my arms, spinning her around.
Aurora and I looked at each other like Jack was crazy.
"I'm sorry did I miss something?" I asked, completely confused.
Jack smiled as he rested Jordyn on his hip.
"I think I know how we can choose our best man and maid of honour......"
