Please Don't Forget Me...
Chapter 5(Daniels POV)
I picked up my phone and my keys then calmly walked out the door, leaving Sammy alone in the house. I quickly walked to my car and unlocked the doors, getting in and slumping down in the drivers seat. To be honest, Sammy's news completely shocked me. She was only 17, turning 18 in a few weeks. Jack was only 18, turning 19 in a few months. By the time the baby is here, Jack and Sammy will still be teenagers. TEENAGERS. I know that they are both responsible people, but this, this is just too much. Sammy literally just started her career as an actress and a singing. Jack has only been apart of the band for 1 and a half years. If this baby comes along, it could potentially ruin everything both Jack and Sammy have worked for. Not only them, but me as well. The band. What if Jack wants to be a full time Dad and decides to leave Why Don't We? Our fans will go nuts, considering that we haven't even been a band for 2 years, and someone is already leaving. This could change everything and I know that all of us aren't ready for this. But, I have to be here for Sammy. She is my best friend, and I would hate to see her go through this tough time alone.
I'm so anxious about what Jacks going to say.
I know that it's not Sammy's fault, but he could get mad, and when Jacks mad, it's the worst.
I just hope he doesn't take it out on Sammy, she's already under a lot of pressure, I mean how is her family going to react? Her friends? The guys? And don't even get me started on the media. I can already see it in my head; 'Upcoming actress Samantha Kelley is pregnant with Jack Avery's child at the age of 17.' 'Fans are shocked, saying that she is a slut and a gold digger.' Eeesh, she's going to get so much hate, and that's the last thing a pregnant woman needs. I cleared my head before starting the car and driving down our steep driveway, pulling into the traffic and joining the sea of busy cars. Chipotle was only a 5 minute drive away so i turned on the radio and listened to some bangers, keeping the windows down, letting the wind roll through my hair.
My blue eyes were shielded by my favourite pair of blue, circular sunglasses. As I merged through traffic I looked behind me in the rear view mirror. A black car was around 200 meters behind me, carrying, to my surprise, the rest of the guys. I smiled to myself as I watched Corbyn and the Uber driver mouths opened and closed as they were singing. I couldn't hear them of course, but I knew their voices were strong and loud. The chipotle sign caught my eye, and I veered off the highway, into the car park, parking as close to the Grill as possible. I wanted to be in and out, fast. There was a 90% chance that Zach wanted Chipotle and asked the driver to come here. I wanted to avoid them because I didn't want them to ask me why I was here. They knew I wasn't hungry, and if I said I was getting it for Sammy, they would become suspicious. I couldn't let it slip that Sammy was pregnant, this was something Jack needed to hear from her, not me. I walked in through the doors, getting my wallet out from my back pocket at the same time. I was the second person in line so it gave me a little time to think about what I should order for Sammy. "Next!" The employee shouted in my face.
I ordered Sammy a salad and then paid with my credit card. I kept looking behind me, just incase the guys walked in. My foot was tapping against the floor impatiently. "Order for Daniella!" The same employee shoutouted. For a second I thought he had gotten my name wrong, but a girl in front of me walked to the counter, and grabbed her bag of food.
As she walked past me, she lightly smiled before disappearing behind me. The sound of the door opening filled the room and that was when I froze in my skin. "Hey Daniel!" I heard a familiar voice yell. Great, just the person I didn't want to see. I awkwardly turned around, a worried look on my face. "Oh uhh hey guys, fancy seeing you here." I nervously chuckled.
"I thought you were at home?" Corbyn said. "Uhh yeah I was, but then Sammy said she was hungry so I decided I'd be a good friend and get it for her." I said through my gritted smile. 'Good excuse' I thought to myself.
"Oh well, thanks bro. I know I can always count on you if Sammy or I need anything. You're already winning to be chosen as my best man at Sammy and I's wedding—" "Woah, woah, woah, woah, what?" Zach interrupted.
"I thought I was going to be your best man."
"Why are we even talking about this?" Jonah questioned. "You guys only just got back together and now your talking about marriage?" Jonah did have a point, but boy, he didn't know what was about to go down. If he thought marriage was bad, the next 9 months were going to be crazy. "Jonah, I believe, no, I know that I am going to marry Sammy, obviously not now, but in a few years once we are ready, she will be walking down the isle, right into my arms, and nothing is going to stop that from happening—" "ORDER FOR DANIEL" the employee yelled, saving me from Jacks speech. "That's me!" I yelled, walking back up to the counter. The guy stared at me blankly and handed me the bag of food. "Thanks" I said greatfully. "I owe you one."
Minutes later, all the guys had their food and were asking me if I could give them a lift home.
Of course I said yes, but the more time I spent with Jack, the more anxious I got. I had to keep biting my tongue cause I'm not good with secrets. The short 5 minute car ride felt like a lifetime and finally we were home. We all walked through the front door and I called out Sammy's name, putting her food on the kitchen counter. A piece of paper caught my eye and I picked it up. It had 'Jack' written on the front in joint writing, and a heart after it. "What's this?" I asked, picking up the piece of paper that was folded into thirds. Jack walked over to me and took it out of my hand. "Sammy?" he yelled. No response. "Babe?" "I'll go check if she's upstairs." Zach said. I started to panic because I had a feeling this was coming. Jack unfolded the paper and began to read it in his head. While he was doing that, I checked all downstairs rooms, every footstep lead to more panic. Zach ran back down the stairs with a confused, wide eyed look on his face. He was about to say something but Corbyn bet him to it. "Jack what's going on?" he asked. "She's gone. He said, his voice breaking as hot tears rolled down his face. "This time, for good."...

Sorry if this was boring, it was just a little snippet of Daniels point of view.
