[haha welcome back guys. I do apologize tremendously for not updating. That's one of the longest breaks I've had from writing.
I did actually write something in the mean time however, which was mainly why it took so long.
I decided to join that contest and published it. (Yes I do write more than just fanfictions, I just never published it considering the one I have was from when I was nine *shudders*) The link isssss http://www.wattpad.com/story/19550218-the-recalcitrant-youngwritersshortstory and it would be lovely if you would read it between now and the end of August and vote, preferably AFTER August 16th.
That's when the votes start to actually count. ;)
Nah but I am honestly sorry for the long delay, I didn't intend to take so long.
And now...for the weather~]
I stumbled to my room, avoiding all family as much as possible. I was not exactly in the mood to deal with anymore unnecessary drama. I laid down, fighting back the urge to smile. That had not been what I planned.
Wait. Did that consider us to be...dating? No, it was just a date, relax. I fell down on my bed, dropping my purse. As much as I am clumsy, he still went on a date with me. That's surprising.
I quickly took a shower before throwing on night clothes and falling asleep quickly in bed.

I groaned and put my hand on my night stand, searching for my phone. I stumbled across a jumping phone that was about to fall off the table. I opened my eyes, wiping the sleep from them before looking at my phone.
'Roxy Lalonde Calling: Swipe to Accept' I groaned and swiped before pressing it to my ear. "Heyyyyy Bae," she giggled from the other end of the call. I yawned and nodded before responding, "Hey Rox, what's up?" I looked around for the time. 12:22. Jesus I slept in too long, we weren't even up that long.
"Welllll, I called to let you know for the FOURTSH fuckin time, that we are soooo going to have a patty later tonight at the warehouse down the street from my house," she giggled, "Wait...party," she corrected herself. I groaned, what was with these people and parties? "Oh come onnnn, don't be like that," she sounded disappointed. "It's at...whatever the fuck, eight tonight, I have something to tell you, don't be late," She smiled. "Oka-" I said as she hung up. I dropped my head back into the pillow and fell back asleep.

I woke up, rubbing my eyes as I glanced at the time. 1:46. I pushed the hair out of my face and sat up, stretching as my brother barged in. I jumped and looked at him, eyes wide. "Mom said lunch is ready," He scowled and left, slamming the door shut.
I got up and walked downstairs, going to the table. Mom was sitting with my brother, eating sandwiches rather than something out of a can for a change. My eyes flickered between the two as I sat down hesitantly. They just seemed so...normal for a change.
Mom smiled at me, "Hey Rae, I made food, do you want water or fruit punch?" She got up, grabbing me a glass. "Uhh water is fine," I frowned, taking a bite of food. Well, it tasted horrible but at least she tried. I swallowed it and grabbed my plate before turning around to her.
She handed me a glass, and I nodded, walking back up to my room. "Thanks Mom," I gave a small smile. "No problem, hey do you have any plans for tonight?" She asked, sitting back down at the table.
