After Fae had promised to text Reggie when she got home safely, she had finished her homework rather quickly. This was a nightly thing for Fae, much like Jughead whom sat on the other side of Pop's dinner. Fae would sneak out of her fathers house and come down here to work on homework or just her art. Fae had trouble sleeping and she knew if she did this at her home her father would surly take her to the doctors for something to help. But Fae didn't want meds, she wanted quiet.
"Thanks again pop, the milkshake was exactly what I needed to finish my oral report. Also, the fries were a nice touch." She smiles at the man behind the counter. She pulls out her wallet to pay only to have Pop Tate hold up his hand.
"Reggie took care of it before he left. He asked what you usually get and left a little extra just incase you decided to get something new." Pop smiles at the young girl. He, like everyone else in town, thinks Fae and Reggie are perfect for each other.
"He did?" Fae asks as she puts her wallet away. Pop just smiles at her and that's all the answer she needs. "Well then I guess I owe him dinner" she says more to herself.
"I'm sure he will like that. although I am also sure he will insist on paying. well you better get going if you want to get home before your dad wakes for work. Be safe out there Fae." Pops reminds the girl as she adjusts her bag.
"Always am Pop. Hey, this is for Jugs meal. Don't tell him I paid or he'll throw a fit, just say it's on the house would you?" She hands the man a $20.
"Of course, that's sweet of you. I'm sure if he knew he'd be thankful." Pop says as he takes care of Jugheads bill. "Now get home." Fae just waves her hand as she leaves the dinner.
It was a cold night for it being the beginning of may and Fae was really wishing she had taken up Reggies offer when he left earlier on that night. But like she had told him, there was no way she would be getting much sleep. If only she knew then what the consequences of her actions would be.
"well aren't you a pretty little thing" Fae hears a mans voice behind her. She is quick to turn around and look at the man, except it wasn't just one but three. Fae was really starting to regret not taking Reggies offer. "Isn't she just a pretty little princess boys?" the man asks his friends and they both make noises in agreement as they look over the girl.
The man steps closer and rubs Faes cheek, she tries to pull away but he is quick to grab her. "L-let go!" She cries out as he yanks her hair towards him. He reeks of alcohol and cigarettes and the smell makes Fae sick.
The man, like his two friends, wears a studded leather jacket and has makeup around his eyes. His eyes are a striking blue and Fae is sure they will haunt her for the rest of her days.
"I bet you're going to feel amazing." He sneers in her ear and she whimpers. She tries to hit him but he catches her wrist and smirks. "Bad, bad, girl. You're going to wish you had just let it happened. Now I'm going to make it hurt, I'm going to make you bleed Princess." He says as he bends her hand back. There is a sickening snapping sound as he breaks her wrist.
The two boys behind their friend laugh as Fae cries out in pain. The man drops her wrist and lets go of her hair only to hit her in the face, hard, causing her to fall to the ground. She tries to get away but he grabs her leg and drags her towards him. He stars undoing his pants and she screams loudly. This only pisses him off more, so he stands up and kicks her several times in the gut. After that her gets his pants down and starts yanking down her own.
Fae lies there crying in pain and fear. The man Kisses her on the lips and she bites his lip drawing blood. She will not go without a fight, not again.. This makes him growl and hit hits her in the face several times until he knocks her out.
