Reggie and Fae had not spent long after that in the cellar. He had insisted that he needed to get her home. She hadn't slept well the night before and he could see the toll it was taking on her. She was exhausted and stressed, neither of which was good for the baby.
When she got home no one was there so he brought the trunk up to her room for her. She had grabbed their bags, even after he had scolded her about it, and brought up as well. She had then insisted he had to lie with her or she wouldn't sleep. So instead of heading home that is what he did.
Fae had quickly fallen asleep in Reggies arms but Reggie couldn't seem follow her lead. All he could do was look at the large trunk sat in the middle of her room. He wasn't sure he wanted her searching through it, he didn't think she was going to like the answers she found in there or in the cellar.
Eventually Faes soft breathing lulled Reggie to sleep. But it wasn't long before the we're both awoken by thunderous footsteps up the stairs and a loud voice. There was no doubt in either teens minds that it was Logan.
"Fae! You're home!" Logan yelled as he ran into her room and climbed on to the bed with them.
Fae grumbled and pulled Logan to lie down as well. "Shh, nap time." Fae mumbles as she burrowed her face into the little boys hair.
Logan laughs at his older sister. "No it's not silly, it's dinner! Mom stopped off at Pops after picking me up. I think she got food for you and Reg, but you have to get out of bed to eat."
"Pops? Ok, I'm up." Fae rubs her eyes and sits up. She turns to her boyfriend who has thrown his arm over his eyes. "Get up lazy, I'm hungry." She pushes his arm from his face.
"Babe, nap time remember?" He smirks with his eyes still closed.
"That was before I found out there was food involved. Now get your lazy butt up and come down stairs with me." When he doesn't move she sighs and leans down pressing her lips to his. He instantly kisses back. "That will be the last kiss you ever receive if you don't come down stairs with me." Reggies eyes fly open and he glares at his girlfriend. She just smirks at him.
"Hey Fae what's in here?" Logan asks as he goes to open the trunk.
Fae is quick to hop off the bed and place her hand on top so he can't open it. "Let's not touch that, alright bud?" Logan frowns but nods anyways.
"You kids going to come eat or what?" Jen yells up the stairs. Logan takes off before Fae can respond. She smiles watching him run out the room.
"We should get a lock for that." Raggie stands and wraps his arms around her waist. "For now we should take the gun out and put it somewhere high so he can't reach it." Fae nods and leans her head back onto his chest.
"I know, will you close the door for me?" She asks as she pulls away and opens the trunk. Reggie walks over and closes the door softly. Once it's closed Fae moves the Serpent jacket and grabs the gun. She puts it on the top shelf in her closet and covers it with a sweatshirt. "That will have to do until we get a lock."
"Come on, let's go eat." He holds out his hand for her. She takes it and walks down the stairs with him.
"Took you two long enough. You're lucky that Serpent boy told your father you were back or I wouldn't have gotten you anything." Jen smiles and kisses Faes forehead. "How was Erika?"
