Sorry guys. I know it's been a while but I have had no motivation to write. My depression seems to be kicking in again and it doesn't help that my college classes start up again soon. I've been forcing myself to write all day so sorry if it's horrible.
Fae sat on her couch while talking on the phone with Mr. Moss. She had called him the moment she got home that night. He said whatever she needed, well she needed Chuck to be punished.
"Let me get this straight? Last year in school this kid harassed you? Now this year he's harassing another girl. There's evidence of cyber bullying and he also threatened you all when you confronted him and asked him to take it down?" Mr. Moss sighs on the other side of the phone. "I can be there tomorrow to discuss this in person. Would that be satisfactory?" He asks Fae as a yawn escapes his lips.
"Yes, I'm sorry for calling you so late Mr. Moss. I know you're a busy man. Thank you." Fae responds as she fiddles with her blanket.
"Don't be sorry Fae. I'm glad you called me. I'll take care of everything. Your grandfather asked me to look after you and I will."
Fae smiles while looking down. "Thank you Mr. Moss. This really does mean a lot."
"Is there anything else you'd like to speak about? How's the house?"
"Not that I can think of." Fae lies, she feels like he knows more then he's letting on but for now she'll leave it be. "And the house is great. I didn't make a lot of changes, just a few. I know grandpa made it for grandma when they married. It should be preserved."
"He did, they had just found out they were having their first child when he built it. He wanted to have a home to raise his family in. A place where they could grow and be who they really are." Moss tells her.
"It's a sweet sentiment." There's a knock at the front door and Fae frowns. "Mr. Moss, I'm going to have to let you go. I have company. Again, thank you for coming here to help me."
"Of course, I will see you soon Fae."
"See you soon." She hangs up the phone and sets it on the coffee table before standing and walking over to the front door. She opens it to fine Betty, Veronica and Cheryl.
"Uhh, hi? How'd you even know I was here?" Fae narrows her eyes at the three girls. "Only a few people know I've moved into this house."
"I asked Reggie." Cheryl says as she pushes the door open further and enters the house.
"Well Reggies sleeping on the couch." Fae grumbles and she walks away from the door letting the other two girls in. "What are you doing here Cheryl, were not friends anymore." Fae tells the red head.
"You need to see this." Betty hands a notebook to Fae. "It uhh.. well Reggie is in it." Betty explains but it only confuses Fae more. "And so are you, Fae."
"Ok, what is it?" Fae asks as she opens the notebook to the marked page. Inside is Reggies name next to several girls, Faes included. Each girl name is marked with a score next to it. Fae suddenly feels sick. "Is this the play book?" She simply asks.
"Yes, I'm sorry Fae. I told them we shouldn't have shown you. In your condition and.. I'm sorry." Veronica says as she tries to hug the young blonde. Fae shoves the notebook into her hands instead.
"You all need to leave." Faes voice is soft, gentle, sad. It's heartbreaking to hear such a sound leave the young, soon to be mother.
"You shouldn't be alone right now Fae." Betty tries to take the girls hand but she pulls it away.
"No, I'm fine. I'm not going to do anything stupid over a few rumors. They're lies," Fae states simply.
"No Fae, they're not." Cheryl tries to make the girl see the truth, but she won't, not yet.
