Monday morning came all to quickly for the group of four. Reggie, it seemed, was the only one excited for the new week to begin. That, of course, was due to the two basketball games that were scheduled for that week. It could not possible be due to the fact that Fae had sworn she would go to watch them both.

Fae would never admit it but she was also excited to see Reggie play. When living with Linda, Fae had never had the opportunity to go to games, dances, or well any event that her school held. She was always too busy. If Fae wasn't locked in the basement of the house, taking a beating or cleaning the house, you would surely find her taking care of the animals.

Faes mother, if you could really call her that, had made Fae her personal farm hand. The farm Linda loved so much included: twenty three horses, eleven pigs, thirty seven cows, a pen with so many chickens (Fae couldn't count them all), seven dogs (all of which were mean as all hell, Fae had many scars from their attacks),and last but not least the twenty something bunnies. Fae had to feed and water all of these animals, she had to muck out stalls and pens, and twice a year she had to go down to the second property and bail hay.

So yes, Fae was dreading the weekend ending but she was excited to see Reggie play. Fae was finally getting to be a teenager and she loved it. She loved her friends, she loved her new school, she loved Jen, she loved having her father back, and Fae loved Logan.

Fae had grown so attached to Logan in the first weeks she had been in Riverdale. Logan was like a light in the dark that was Faes life. He was such a sweet little thing. Logan was the baby brother Fae had longed for, for so long. He looked at Fae like she was this rare beauty in the world. He was so innocent to the horrors of her family and she loved it.

Logan didn't really know any of his other siblings. Ashley, the oldest, no one had heard from since she ran away. James, the oldest boy, had knocked some girl up and they had moved away together the same year Logan was born, they haven't been back since. Thomas, whom before Logan was the middle of the five kids, had joined the army only a few months after his baby brother was born. Thomas was now overseas serving his country, something he had longed to do since their grandfather had told them tales of his adventures overseas. Then there was Robert, he was an evil little rat and Fae was glad Logan would never meet Robert. Robert had been missing for two years now. No one was sure what had happened, one minuet he was there and as happy as could be (torturing his little sister), the next he was just gone.

"Fae, if you need a ride to school today you need to get down here! I have to get to the bakery as early as possible and I still need to drop Logan off." Jen yelled up to her step-daughter. Fae had come home the night before after a long weekend with the Blossoms.

"I'm fine!" Fae called down the stairs as she brushed her hair. "Reggies going to walk to school with me. Oh! I won't be home until later tonight. I'm gunna go to the basketball game." She says as she sits down next to Logan at the bar in the kitchen.

"Oh right, that is tonight! Here," Jen pulls out her wallet from her purse grabbing a few$20's  and hands them to Fae. "Just in case you decided to go out after that or you want something during. What time do you think you will be home?"

Fae shrugs as she pours herself a bowl of cereal. "I'm not sure. I'm riding on the bus with everyone so I get to leave school in fourth period. The game is a few towns over and it's not until 5:30. I know Jason wants to go to Pop's after but I'm not sure if I'll go, it will be late when we get back and I'll have homework to do." Fae says between bites of her breakfast.

"well you could always do your homework on the bus. I'm sure Reggie or Jason will be willing to tell the other boys to shut up. They both seem willing to do anything for you" Jen smiles.
