"Your okay Mrs. Curtis. Everything is okay for you and your baby." As soon as she said that Darry and I shared a passionate kiss, then we hugged eachother close as we cried. "I... I don't know what I would do if I lost you." "Me ether." "Excuse me. I'm... im the guy who was driving the truck. I wanted to see if everyone was okay." Darry and I pulled away, I saw a boy about sodas age with a worried smile on his face. "No were not okay. My wife drowned, and my son was moments away from drowning to." "I'm sorry sir. I'm just glad she's okay." "She died. You killed her, I'm the one who brought her back to life, but you have her blood on your hands boy. You killed her." "Darry. Stop. I'm okay." "Darry? As in Darry Curtis?" "Yeah. That's me." Darry said more calm now as he noticed that DJ was moving around in his sleep. "I'm, Sam adams, I work at the DX with Sodapop." "Why were you driving the truck?" "It's a side job, I dropped a package and leaned over to get It, I didn't know I was going into your lane." "He's just a kid dare." Darry grabbed my hand and took a deep breath. "He still killed you." "But I'm here." I dubbed his forearm and he took another deep breath. "Get out Of here before I break you." Sam nodded and ran away.

They let us out of the hospital a few days later and I was thankful for that because Dally's birthday is here. I snuck out of bed and headed for the cemetery, I stood in front of his grave with a small smile. "Hey dal. I don't got no present this year... I was going to get one at the store but I... ended up dying so." I laughed. "Obviously That didn't last long so." I sat down and placed a hand on his name. "I can't remember a lot from it, just Darry grunting, water and DJ's cries. That's about it." A tear ran down my cheek, "I love Darry and DJ, but... a part of me wishes they let me die. Cause then I'd get to be with you." I leaned up and lead my head on his grave stone. "You have no idea how much I miss you Dally."

Dally's POV~
"You have no idea how much I miss you to kourtney." I sat down beside her and watched as she cried. I wish I could say that I was in heaven, but I'm not. I have to watch her, I have to protect her so I decided to stay. That's how I've been watching her every move cause I'm right beside her through everything.

"I put on this fake smile and a brave face, but truth is Im... im devastated that your gone dal." I reached over to place a hand on her shoulder but it went straight through, and I groaned at the frustration that I can't comfort her. "I'd do anything. Litterally anything to hear your voice again, to see you smile or to pluck your thick ass eyebrows." we laughed, "My eyebrows are just fine asshole." "Id give anything to hear your smart ass comments on thoes bushes to." We both laughed again but hers sounded more painful then mine. "Last time I visited... it was bad." She ran her hand over the blood stains as she pulled away slightly, "Real bad... but who could blame me. You left me." I sighed but never took my eyes off of her. "I got to go dal. I love you so much." She kissed my grave stone and stood up I followed her. "Kourtney I'm right here, I didn't leave you! I'm right here! Please listen. come back!" She turned on her hell and began to leave. I went after her but a hand on my shoulder stopped me. I turned to see Johnny who stayed her like me to watch over her. "Dal. You got to let her go." "I can't Johnny. I shouldn't have robbed that store I should be there holding her hand-" "Dal. You got to let her go." I looked over at kourtney to see she had made her way to johnnys grave. We both walked over to her and stood in front of her as her eyes were on Johnnys name.

"Get ready man. This is gunna be tuff." I wrapped an arm around johnnys shoulders as he watched Kourtney's every move. "Hey Johnny... I havent visited sense... sense... your funeral." She scuffed and shoved her hands in her pockets. "Darry and me are married. Like you said, and we have a son. I named him DJ... it stands for Dallas Johnny, named after his two uncles who love him unconditionally. Well... would." "I can't watch this Dally." Johnny said and tried to live but I forced him to stay, "You have to."

"Johnny... it wasn't fair that you had to go. You were young. So young... I'm sorry I couldn't protect you. I'm sorry Dally and I couldn't give you the life you deserve." She paused to lick her lips and wipe her tears. "Dal... he's gone Johnny. Left me in the dust right after you passed, the same damn night not even an hour apart."
