Sodapop's POV~
I stood in the hallway as Kourtney was taking a shower, she was humming and talking to her self, I couldn't help but smile. "Hey soda. What are you doing?" I Hurd pony say but I couldn't answer as I lost my self in Kourtney's Voice. "Soda." I looked over as he put his hand on my shoulder. "What Pony?" I asked, he looked at me and then at the bathroom door and smiled as he Hurd Kourtney humming. "Everything's going to be okay. You'll get your girl back soon." I crossed my arms and took in a deep breath, "I hope so." The shower stopped and the shower curtain being moved was Hurd. "Come on, you don't want to freak her out." Pony Whispered, I nodded as we walked away. "You know pony, You just gave me a good idea." "How?" "Freak." "You've lost me." I stopped and looked at my brother. "Remember the freak we read about in the paper yesterday?" "The old woman who claims to be psychic?" "Yeah. What if she can help Kourtney?" Pony shrugged, "At this point nothing is going to hurt." I smiled, "Get Darry, ask him for 100$ I'll pay the other half. I'm getting my fiancé back by this time tomorrow!"

Darry and I paid the woman to come over, kourtney thinks she is our aunt and is coming to visit us. "I can all ready sense it." The woman said as she walked in, "Sense what?" "A memory wipe... Someone has lost thier memory." I widened my eyes. We really haven't told her anything expect for Kourtney needs her help. "Yeah. My fiancé, she thinks she's Still married to someone else and that her brother who died a while ago is still alive." "I see and your the Ex Husband?" Darry hesitantly nodded, "Okay. I need to speak with Kourtney." I smiled, "Do you think you can help?" "I can't promise anything but Ill promise to try." "Kourtney!" Darry called our to her, "What!?" She yelled back, "My aunt Rosa is here." She came into the living room and smiled, "Hi! It's so nice to met you I'm-" "Darrel's wife and mother of his two children. Yes I know." They shook hands, "Wow. I guess Darry told you about me?" "In a sense yes. Do you have any family?" "Yeah. My brother, that's about it though." "Oh. Dallas right?" Kourtney nodded, "Yeah, sit make your self comfortable I have dinner in the oven." The old women made her way to the couch, "Oh lovely I just love roast beef." Kourtney narrowed her brows, "How did you-" "I told her." I said with a smile, kourtney smiled back.

After dinner and a few questions later the lady excused her self and Darry and I followed her to the porch. "Well. What do you think?" She took a deep breath, "That woman has a lot of pain buried deep deep down under a whole pile of denial." "What does that mean?" I asked, "I can't tell exactly what that pain is but... but I feel it... it's." The women started to cry, "It's full of guilt and sorrow, regret and shame, mixed with so so much grief. More then I have ever felt from anyone in my whole life time." I couldn't help but look at the ground and hold back my own tears. "Yeah Kourtney has been through a lot." I looked over at Darry who looked just like I did. The women wiped her tears, "I can tell. But I can help, here's my card. I'll be back tomorrow." I took the card from her and looked down, her name was Linda. "Oh, And Sodapop." I looked up, Linda smiled at me, "I won't stop until you get your fiancé back." "Thank you." "She loves you, with all her heart, I felt it." I smiled, "Thank you." I said one more time, she nodded and walked away.

"I'm no physic, but I can see it to." I smiled at my brother, "She never looked at me like the way she looks at you." "Dont say that Darry, she loved you-" "I know, but her love for me is... was different. It wasn't as deep as her love for you, I'm not saying it was fake but... it wasn't meant to be forever. The love she Has for you... that's deep, and real, it's meant to be forever." "Thanks Darry. I needed to hear that." I turned to go inside but stopped as Darry spoke again. "The night you gave Kourtney DJ's pacifier when we were staying at Bucks was the night I realized that." I turned and looked at him as he rubbed the back of his neck. "She had just fallen asleep as I woke up, I was hearing something and thought DJ was awake again, but it was her. She was talking in her sleep." He paused and sighed, "She was talking about how much she loved her husband, saying that he was the love of her life and how he was the perfect father and the perfect man.... I was expecting her to say my name but... she said yours." "She said... my name?" "Yeah... I wanted to be pissed, but I couldn't help but smile, because I realized that every time she smiled, everytime she laughed or had the look of love in her eyes it wasn't with me. It was with you." I smiled, "But I choice to ignore it, and forget about it, until we went to war... and I was awake watching over you as you slept... You were talking in your sleep, just like her. Saying that you loved Kourtney and thought he was the perfect woman... I knew you both felt the same thing but I choice to ignore it. Because I loved her... way more then she could have ever loved me." Some tears ran down his cheek as he said the thing he prayed not to hear, I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder.
