Host: General
Years of writing experience in the fandom: 3 years and 6 months (and counting).
Dub/Sub names: Both (note: dub names are limited to the original series only).
Series watched: Inazuma Eleven FF, Aliea Arc, FFI, Go, Chrono Stone, Ares, Orion (following).
Personal highest achievement: Sixth Sense [discontinued], Fabricated [on-going], and an original story.
Genre preferences: AU, mystery, thriller, horror [1], action, slice of life [2].
Restrictions: BxB, GxG, romance in general (it’s okay as a sub-genre, as implicit as possible is preferable), characters from IEGo and beyond [3], stories that more or less are retelling the whole series with only slight changes, angst.
Reading preferences: Fanfics that centers on IE original characters or characters that had less spotlight in the series (e.g., Handa). Storyline that does not focus on soccer and where hissatsus (or anything supernatural) doesn’t exists [4]. AUs. A story that does not follow a certain cannon, however, canons are still fine. An OOC character [5]. When characters are in their late teens (16-19).
Writing preferences: All of the fanfics I wrote were never about soccer, because I love setting these sakka bakas in another dimension. I insert love interests as implicit as I can, but most likely none will end up in a relationship. I focus on the adventures a youth can have, even if it gets to a point that they are involved in murder. That's good stuff.
Critique specifics: Development of main characters. Development of side characters. Story plotline. Effectiveness and relevance to the genre. Language and form. The OOCness of a character (whether main or not). Originality. Your OCs (if available).
Payment: Read the prologue and 1st Chapter of “Fabricated” and shoot me a pm (I repeat, a pm) of what you sincerely think about it. No need to vote or comment, but of course I don’t mind if you want to. Note that your review will be my cue to start judging your entry.
Additional Notes:
- My speciality is in AU stories, OOC characters and things that do not follow canon. But watch out for cliches. I’m strict when it comes to that, although I do a lot of considerations as long as it’s reasonable.
- I accept entries for Simple is Best, so long as they are in my preferred genre. Other genres not mentioned can be submitted to other judges who accept such. Basically, the length of your entries doesn’t matter to me (however, follow the rules of TLA), but specify if it’s a novel, short story, or one-shot. They will be judged differently.
- I am also strict with OCs. I know when an OC is stereotypical, unnaturally perfect, and I know when it can be considered. I’m not keeping you from submitting with the mentioned kind of OCs, but remember they are going to be judges. If ever you have a typical OC, impress me with your twists ;)
[1] Horror genre is not gore, yet there could also be gore in horror. The elements of horror always include thriller and mystery and a goal to scare readers. A story that involves only pure gore is not horror, but can be under action. Be careful in labeling the genre of your story.
[2] Slice of life stories doesn’t have to be a short story or one-shot (because there is an appropriate category for that). But if it falls into the genre listed above, they are also welcome.
[3] I barely remember any IE Go, Chrono Stone and Galaxy characters, but they’re completely fine as unimportant side characters.
[4] Note that it is only a preference. I still accept hissatsus, or an AU where magic or powers are naturalized.
[5] That doesn’t mean all kinds of OOC are acceptable. As mentioned in the Critique Specifics, I’ll be judging how the OOCness suited or is effectively established in a particular character.
