What is an authors note?
Well, normally it's an update on the story every 5-10 chapters or so. And they mention any confusing points and point a few things/people they's like to thank or mention.
SO WHY DO PEOPLE GO AROUND AND HAVE EVERYSECOND CHAPTER A FUCKING AUTHORS NOTE?
So I was browsing Wattpad for fan fictions as I normally do, and this one fan fic caught my eye. It was 14 chapters long, so there's a heap for me to read. (Unless I'm lacking in Fan fics, do I every read anything under 3 updates long) I open it up and it starts with a character introductory. Okay, okay that's fine. I can handle that. Next chapter was a solid decent chapter. Hooray, it's good! Next chapter? Oh you fucking guessed right. Authors note. Next chapter another fucking character update. After that chapters got lazy and short. There was an authors note every second chapter which really irked me. I shit you not.
14 chapters long my ass. It was 5 1/2 chapters long. YES THERE WAS A FUCKING HALF CHAPTER.
Seriously people, if your goign to have an authors note, do it at LEAST 5 chapters in. I have one mildly succesful fan fiction entitled Red vs Blue: Chronicle. Fourteen fucking chapters in, with no authors notes! See look how boss I am!
Oh but I really needed to tell them before the next chapter came out!
That's perfectly fine but just don't do it every second chapter!

First off, calm your ass down a notch. Second of all, you can clear it up later! In an Authors note reviewing the first 5 chapters!
