"I can't believe you didn't invite me, Conor!" Molly stood in front of them with her arms folded. She looked furious, she then turned her head and glared at Mae.
"I told you not to hang out with her" Molly pointed at Mae. Libby stood up and got in front of the girl.
"You can't tell Conor what to do!" Libby step in front of Molly. She wasn't sure what she was doing but just wanted to put an end to it. Molly rolled her eyes at the girl, thinking about how to get rid of her."Oh, Libby! I thought you would be at the Coco Factory, they were giving out free chocolate" Molly said giving the fakest tone ever. Mae glared at the girl, knowing well that she was trying to manipulate Libby. She worried about her. Libby's eyes lit up at what she heard. "I have to go see this!" She said before running off the beach leaving Mae and Conor alone with Molly.
Conor got up, Mae followed along with him. "I should check it out too"
Conor said to her. Molly just giggled at him and smirked towards Mae. "Why did you trick her?" Mae asked she felt awful for Libby. Molly rolled her eyes at her still smiling. "I just had to get rid of her" Molly told her. Conor frowned and looked at Mae. Mae looked at him and got upset that both Conor and Libby got tricked by her. "Now it's time for you to leave" Molly looked at Mae."We need to go find Libby" Conor motioned for Mae to follow.
"Why are you so empty minded? Can't you tell that I want you!" Molly yelled at Conor.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm ready to date" Conor explained.
"It's because of her!" Molly hissed as she points at Mae.
"Don't bring her into this" Conor told her.
"All she's been doing is throwing herself on to you"
"You don't know her"
"But I know what type of person she is"
"Let's go," Mae said, wanting the fight to end. It took a lot for her to not snap at Molly. She is a collective girl but watching how Molly tried to take advantage of Conor really got to her. Conor and Mae started walking until Molly took a bold move."You slut!" Molly yelled as she grabbed the strap of Mae's top and yanked it off. Mae used her right arm to cover herself and the other to grab onto the collar of Molly's shirt. With her strength, she was able to pull her to the sand and land on top of her. Not caring that she's exposed, Mae used both hands to pull and push her onto the sand. "Get her off!" Molly yelled. Conor would be lying if he didn't enjoy Mae getting revenge on her.
"She's had enough," Conor said as he pulled Mae up by her arm. Molly got up and dusted the sand off her, it didn't help much. "Really, Conor!? You went as low to be with her, while I'm here! I could easily pleasure you and since you get famous, you need a hot girl to show off" Molly ranted at Conor. Mae found her top discarded on the ground. She put it on, unfortunately, one of the straps were ripped but it still covered her.
"I don't know if I'm prepared to date again" Conor explained. Molly was engulfed with rage to put his words into consideration. "You're selfish, Conor!" She yelled at him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to make you upset" Conor apologized.
"Then change your ways!"
"I'm trying to"
"Let's go" Mae grabbed Conor and pulled him away from Molly. She couldn't stand to watch them anymore.Conor looked back at Molly as they walked off the beach. He wanted to make sure that she doesn't pull another stunt. "Are you going to tell everyone what happened?" Mae asked Conor.
"I won't, you don't deserve to be humiliated even more" Conor explained to her.
"Thanks," Mae sighed, she didn't know what else to say.
"It's the least I could do, after standing up for me and not let her get into my head," Conor said. Mae nod, not knowing how to further the conversation.
"We should find Libby," Conor said as they reached the boardwalk. The first place that they stop at was the Coco Factory. It was a cozy place that made fudge, chocolate, taffy, and other tasty goods. The place was owned by Tatiana Billick. She and her two sons worked there, after buying the place. No one knows anything about there father, most say that he was left behind in Belgium. The two sons are seven years apart, the oldest being 20. Berwald is a smart but emotional person, while Walter was athletic and dorky.
"Has a girl came in here asking for free chocolate?" Conor asked Berwald, who was behind the counter. He had straight hair, that's not too long. Part of it covered his left eye and is dark blond. His eyes were sea green and downturned. He was currently carving a wooden heart with a knife. On the front, it had 'C+B' telling it was for someone. Berwald looked up at the two.
"The brown-haired girl? I felt bad so I ended up giving her a box of scraps. There was a lot of it. I think she said she wanted to give them to someone named Ed?" Berwald tried to remember.
"Okay, thank you!" Conor waved as he and Mae left the Coco Factory. The Coco Factory was a few stores away from the Discount Swimsuits. Walking through the beads, Libby can be found sharing her chocolate with Eddie. "Oh, sorry that I didn't come back. I hope there was no fighting" Libby apologized after seeing Conor and Mae walk in.
"No, everything got settled" Conor did most of the talking. He didn't want to tell them what actually happens since he promised not to talk about Mae's fight.
"What happened there?" Eddie asked, pointing to the broken strap."I got it caught on something" Mae lied. Eddie got up from his seat and pulled a needle and white thread out of a container. "Sit there and I'll fix it for you" Eddie motioned to a small. Mae sat down and Eddie sat on a seat behind her. Then he started fixing the ripped strap. Conor and Libby stood at the counter and ate the free chocolate.
"Then the bitch took Conor away from me!" Molly ranted as she started drying her hair with a towel. A girl with black straight hair was sitting on the couch listening to her rant on.
"What did you say the girl's name was again?" The girl asked Molly.
"Mae"
The girl snickered, "this is going to be good."
