Brixon gripped the blond boy by his arms. He began to swim upwards, hoping that his boat was still there. Sadly, no boats could be spotted. They must've forgotten about him. Brixon decided to take the boy to a dry spot. He couldn't put them on one of the rocks since it was occupied by the statues. Brixon held onto the boy tightly as he quickly swims to the closet area with the land.

There was a spot next to the tower of fallen rocks where it had a patch of sand. It was a soft place to let the boy lay. Brixon had little knowledge about caring for humans. He wished he could take him to the hospital but he has to stay a siren. The necklace had no effect as long as the tournament for the ruler is ongoing. Brixon has hit a brick wall. He wanted to help the boy but he didn't know how to take him to a hospital.

Brixon has heard of a procedure called CPR. He had to do chest compressions in a certain rhythm. Maybe, Brixon could mimic that procedure to save him. He could align his hands to his chest and started his compressions. Brixon started to do mouth to mouth in hopes that would help too. Brixon continued his actions in hopes to save a life. Joy came to Brixon's face as he heard a couch from the boy. He smiled and waited for the boy to regain his posture.

Brixon waited patiently for the boy to catch his breath and start to relax. The boy's eyes fell of Brixon then onto his tail. "W...who are you!?" The boy asked in surprise. "Oh sorry, I'm Brixon," He quickly apologized for not introducing himself. "But why do you have a tail?" The boy looked to be dazed by Brixon.
"I'm a siren or more specifically I'm Triton," Brixon explained to him.
"How are you a siren?"
"I was just unfortunate enough to have this happen. Anyways, who are you?" Brixon tried to change the conversation.
"Right, I'm Logan," the blond boy introduced himself.

Brixon couldn't help but smile at him. Logan seemed to be aware of it. "What's wrong?" He asked him. "I've never had a good conversation with a human before," Brixon admitted.
"Today is your lucky day," Logan chuckled before coughing into his arm. Brixon knew that new happiness has started for him and it came from saving a stranger.

"We'll stay here and look for them with the boats," Pj instructed.
"Toby, take Ashley home and take care of her. Mae and Conor, check the next big dock. Allen and Libby, go scan the beach for anyone," Pj continued with his instructions. Pj and Darrel both decided to stay with the boats In case one of them came back. Mae and Conor were going to the second dock to see if any of Mae's old friends would meet up with her there. Libby and Allen had to scan the beach for anyone that was washed up. They couldn't risk any human seeing a siren on the beach. It was best to have surveillance along the shoreline.

"Keep me up to date with what's going on," Toby told them as he picked up Ashley. He carried her to his truck and let her lay in the backseat. He didn't know what happened to her but hopes she would regain consciousness soon. Toby has to leave the exciting work with everyone else. He didn't have a problem with taking care of Ashley, it was a good way to spend time with her.

Mae's legs dangled off of the dock. It could barely reach the water. She had no idea how to call them. With the excitement of the ritual, they wouldn't even care about a singing girl. Conor day next to her, he stared at the ocean. The disorientated moon on the ocean was always an eye-pleasing image. It made it easier for Conor to think more. The couple sat in silence, as they stared at the ocean and think. "What happens is none of us gets in touch with them?" Conor finally spoke up.

Mae looked over at Conor, she could tell that he was worried for them. "Then we hope that someone else knows about Micah's weapon," Mae told him.
"Do you think anyone knows?" Conor asked, mostly out of desperation. He had three of his closest friends in danger.
"Fawn knows but she won't tell. If Callie knows, I know she would fight against him," Mae explained.

Fawn was a sweet person but she relied on other people too much. She wanted Micah to show her what it was like to be human again. Fawn was always seeing the good in people even if they did a wicked deed. Callie was different from her. She relies on no one but is a motherly person to them. Mae was happy to have her around. Callie made everyone feel good and happy. She took care of everyone as if they were her little siblings.

Brixon was such a surprise to Mae. He was a strong, brave, and friendly person. She wasn't too surprised that he was actually Triton. Every feature of him just proves even more that he's a god. Mae only enjoyed being a siren because of the people that she was surrounded by. Sadly, one person has changed from her friend group. That was Clare.

Mae started out all by herself until Clare came along. She introduced her to everyone. Clare was always welcoming and had a good attitude. It all changed on one day. She has been missing half of the morning. It wasn't like her, she was energetic and would always socialize. Not having her there made everyone worry. They all tried to look for her.

Clare finally appeared during the middle of the day. She was different. Clare began to have a temper and always acted more gloomy. No one talked to her all day, afraid that she would snap at them. Later that night, Clare confessed that she met with the Siren that Remembers. At that time, it was forbidden to see him. Somehow Clare managed to have a full conversation with him. This went on for a week. Then one day, Clare just left. She exchanged with another siren, that ran away.

Now everything makes much more sense. Micah has been using Clare for his schemes. They've been planning it while she was visiting. Mae didn't really know what to be upset about but she just is. What was worse for her? Losing someone she looked up to or an evil siren persuades her and her friends to kill people. It was all horrible. Mae doesn't want her friends to be killed by the man that's been manipulating people. There was nothing Mae could do, she was just a human.

"Mae? Snap out of it," Conor gently tapped on her shoulder. Mae didn't even realize how much in a daze she was. "You look like your going to cry, what's wrong?" Conor asked her. Mae didn't even know how close she was getting to tears. "I'm just afraid for our friends... and I feel so betrayed," Mae admitted. Conor was a safe zone for her, she could tell him all her woes. He does his best to comfort her when she needs it.

Conor turned his body slightly so that he was facing her. "Hug?" He spread his arms open to allow her to get close. Mae couldn't help but smile as she leaned against his body. Her head laid on his shoulder as her body rested on his chest. Conor engulfed her in the hug. One hand was on her head while the other was around her waist. Conor wanted to make her feel secure, after all, she has done for him emotionally.
