The brown haired girl opened her eyes to see her friend staring down at her. "Fawn? What happened to me?" The girl asked her friend. Fawn was caught off guard as her friend said her name. "You remember?" She asked her.
"Yeah, what do you m-" The girl looked around at her surroundings. Fishes were swimming past her, seaweed float around her. "Mae, I think you broke the cycle," Fawn told her.

Mae quickly swam upwards. She looked down at her tail, realizing she made a huge mess. "This can't be right," Mae said as she started swimming towards the surface. She spun in circles before seeing the beach in the distance. Soon, Fawn came up to the water to see Mae. "I have to see if Penelope is alright," Mae told her. "You can't go to the beach, you'll get trapped" Fawn warned her. Mae thought about it and knew better than to risk the secret to the whole island.

"How long was I out?" Mae asked Fawn. "You and Mar-Nelson were asleep for eight hours," Fawn told her. Mae was lost, she didn't know what to do next. She was in a bad situation and doesn't know how to save herself. Luckily she had Fawn with her, she made the situation better. "Where's Nelson?" Mae asked. "Follow me," Fawn told her as she started swimming to the ocean floor.

Nelson was laying in the sand, his hair was dusted with sand. Fawn gently tapped him on the shoulder, making him stir slightly. She looked up at Mae before poking him even more. His eyes started to flutter open then caught a glimpse of Fawn and Mae. He got up and swam over them. Nelson looked alerted and mostly frustrated at them. He then recognized Mae and gave her a glare.

"You ruined everything" He hissed swimming up to her, then knocking her to the sand. He then towered over her before asking, "How do you even know about sirens?"
"I'm going to leave you two alone," Fawn said before swimming away from them. Mae was about to yell at her for leaving them alone, making things awkward for them. Nelson looked at Fawn leave then turned to Mae, waiting for her to answer his question. "I used to be s siren" Mae admitted to him. Nelson nod as he floated down to her level.

"Wait, so you still remember?" Mae nod at his question. She felt awkward talking to him, especially since she still remembers everything that happened. It's only a matter of time for when she reveals the truth about what happened.
"I know this is a long shot but you don't suppose you know me in the human world," Nelson asked her. They were both sitting on the sand, Mae shook her head. "I know your friends," she told him.

Nelson's eyes lit up and he smiled. "Please, tell me what you know about me! I really want to remember" Nelson pleaded to her. Mae couldn't deny him, she remembered how hopeless she was when losing her memory. "Your real name is Nelson Bianchi, and you are close friends with Allen Cornwallis and Libby Wilson," she told him. Nelson smiled, he wondered how they are like and wishes to meet them again. He loved the sound of his name it was much better than Martin with no last name. "Is there more?" He asked her.

"Yeah, you love poetry and have your own poetry journal with secrets in it. And you also create songs for a band called Albany" Mae explained to him, that was all she could remember. She wishes to tell him more, he was so desperate to remember his past life. It feels cruel to taunt about her human life as he is stuck as a siren. "That's it," she said. Nevertheless, Nelson was quite happy to learn about himself. He was happy to know that there were still people that care for him.

"Mae!" Fawn called out as she raced towards her. She had two others following close behind her. Mae recognizes who they are and so does Nelson. A girl with brown skin and long silky black hair rushes over and gave Mae a hug. "Darling, I miss you so much!" She said stroking Mae's hair. That girl is none other than Callie. She loved her friends to the bone and they love her back just as much. "Fawn told me what happened, are you hurt?" She asked Mae.
"No, I'm fine" Mae smiled at her friend. She didn't realize how much she missed her until seeing her again.

"And how is our Martin feeling?" The boy asked. Nelson held his pointer finger up and said, "I'm no longer Martin, now I'm Nelson Bianchi!" He wore his name with pride and mostly to show off that he now has the last name. "Dude, you are so lucky!" The boy said before doing a summersault in the water. The energetic boy is named Brixon, he was one of the first sirens there so his name was a special gift from Neptune. That's what he's been telling everyone, no one knows if he actually knows Neptune. There is one person that has been punished by Neptune, but no one dares say his given name.

Brixon then gave Mae a hug telling her how much he misses her. Fawn had to break up the reunion to give Nelson and Mae the news. "Guys, the siren who remembers wants to see you," Fawn told them, her happy, outgoing state was gone she was now filled with fear and worry. That was the name that should never be mentioned. Everyone calls him the siren who remembers, by the name you already know what's special about him. That's not the only thing you should know, he has been a siren for the longest time.

The siren who remembers was punished by Neptune for an unknown reason. They both had a big dispute and he ended up getting punished. What was his punishment? Neptune took away his singing voice. It may not seem big to you but that's the only way he could become human again. Now the siren who remembers lives in a dark isolated cave away from everyone. He refuses to show emotion or sympathy to the other sirens. Revealing how cold-hearted he became from the punishment.

"Good luck," Brixon told them before Nelson and Mae swan away. "If he hurts them, then I'm going to kill him," Callie told the group. No one stopped her since they all agreed with her. Truthfully, no one knows who the siren that remembers is like or how violent he could be. The group of three stayed worried about their two friends as they went to go meet him.
