The hospital was still open, even during the late hour. The dark brown haired man saw no receptionist and took his chance to get past the waiting room. The lights were dimmed as he wondered the rooms. A friend of his texted him the room number, he knew where to go. He was planning to visit earlier but something got in the way.

Finally, the man reached the room. He walked inside to see the black haired girl. She was awake, her bright blue eyes made contact to his hazel eyes. "I'm surprised you showed up, Toby," the girl said.
"And miss my chance to see you in pain, I'm not taking that chance, Ashley" Toby teased the girl. He found a chair and pulled up right beside her bed.

"So what took you so long?" Ashley asked him.
"My car was at the workshop, I would rather wait on it" Toby explained to her. Ashley rolled her eyes at him before turning her attention towards the window. It was a full moon, the only thing bringing light to the dark room. Ashley would say that it made her feel gloomy, especially what's been going on recently. She never told anyone what was really happening.

"What's wrong?" Toby asked. Ashley didn't notice that she was staring off. Too much was in her mind, she had so much to do but she was stuck in the hospital. "Nothing, to be concerned about" Ashley dismisses it. Toby sighed before he looked out the window. "So we're going to ignore it..." Ashley turned her attention to him. Toby was struggling to hide his emotions, he's a bomb ready to burst.

"Is that the reason you came here?" Ashley asked him. "No-well, I wanted to make sure you're alright," Toby told her, he turned his attention away from the window to face her. "I know love is painful, but that doesn't mean you should keep it to yourself," Ashley told him. She already knew that they liked each other, she also knew how weak he is about his emotions. Ashley wanted to strengthen it.

She cared for Toby, too. Ashley wishes to help him even when she isn't around. Now is the time to do it before it is too late. "I just don't want to be pushed down even more than I already am" Toby defended himself. "It's okay to take a risk, I'm going to do that with you," Ashley said.
"Wait, is that your way of asking me out?" Toby questioned her.
"It could be," Ashley smirked.
"You're confusing me!" Toby told her.
"Okay, fine" Ashley gave in, smiling at him. Toby smiles back before leaning towards her.

Ashley put her hand on the back of his head. Toby leaned his left arm to the other side of the bed. Both stared at each other for a second. Footsteps could be heard from the other side of the door. It made the whole scene suspenseful for them. "Right now is a bad moment," Ashley said before pushing Toby off of her. Toby sat back in his chair.

"Maybe we can be together after I'm out of the hospital," Ashley told him. Toby gave her a strange look before saying, "if you think I'm leaving you alone, then you're wrong." He said, walking towards the couch. It was close enough to the bed where he could reach her. "When you leave, I leave," Toby told her before laying on the couch. Ashley smiled as she watched.

"Could I at least hold your hand?" Toby asked her, looking up from the bed. Ashley hung her arm at the edge of the bed. Toby held onto her hand even though his arm was in an uncomfortable position. Toby didn't care as long as he was around the one he loves. He was a completely committed person, he doesn't wish to leave Ashley's side.

Ashley was a loyal and protective person, it made it easy for Toby to commit to being with her. Ashley knew that dating someone like Toby would be a risk. She was afraid of who would stop them from being together. Ashley did love Toby for a while and wasn't about to give it up. Any risk is worth it until it becomes fatal.

It is true, Ashley resented her past and home. People envied what she had but to be honest it wasn't as it seems to be. Her parents were rich and popular people in Luxembourg. People knew their names and wished to be like them. Life was always different for Ashley. In town, she would see people talking and socializing while she has no friends. When she tries to start a conversation, no one can talk to her normally. They addressed her differently and didn't treat her the same as everyone else. It wasn't the life she wants.

That wasn't the worse part of her childhood. Ashley did love both of her parents and grandparents but they didn't always do what's best for her. Pretty much they wanted her to do certain activities and hang out with a collective group of people. Her parents did help her make friends by always hanging out with other rich families. It was the type of people she should be associated with. Anyone in a lower class gives them a bad name and Ashley's parents won't allow it.

The school was a key part of her life. Ashley was sent to a private all-girls school. Her parents had a certain pathway they wanted her to follow and clubs she should join. She was forced to take advanced classes and to plan her future early. Ashley was also forced to join sports to balance out everything. She took basketball for two years before doing tennis. It turned out Ashley enjoys tennis.

There are times that Ashley got to pick what she does. One year she had a free period, Ashley decided to try out designing. Slowly it started to evolve into photoshopping. It was a great and reasonable class for Ashley to do. There she learns about computers and gets to be creative with what she does. That is why Ashley decided to do that as her career path.

Silverfish wasn't Ashley's parents' idea place for Ashley to begin her college life, but they agreed on it (only because Penelope's parents are allowing her to stay there). From there Ashley has barely contacted her parents and refuse to visit them. That's when they brought Molly to the picture. Molly was the spy for Ashley's parents, she would report anything that Ashley did wrong. That would be the case if she actually does it. Molly liked Ashley she hopes they would become friends, that's why she lies to Ashley's parents.

The door opened to the hospital room. A woman stands in the doorway of the room. She stares at the couple that was asleep. The duo was still holding hands and looked too peaceful together. The girl shook her head and smirked, "you make this too easy, Venilia."
