Eddie ties a white ribbon around Mae's waistline. She wore a giant teal robe that dragged on the ground. Eddie work on making the dress fit perfectly. Ashley was sitting on the desk preparing the beads for the dress. Penelope was on her computer, trying to order the clothing that was needed. Nelson and Allen were both Eddie's assistants. They assured that everything turns out well.

"Alright, I ordered the stuff. Now I have to pick it up," Penelope stood up. "Where did you get it?" Allen asks. He was working on the length of the dress and where it should be cut. "Some place at the mall, I think is on the other side where you work," Penelope couldn't recall what the place was. It sold a lot of stuff that can be used for sewing. That was perfect to design the dress with. Eddie wants her to buy some stuff so the dress doesn't look plain while the accessories were everywhere.

"Okay, be careful," Allen warns as he marked a certain length of the robe. Penelope grabs Allen's keys and walked out of the work room. "I didn't know Penelope had a car," Nelson said as he watched Penelope leave. "She doesn't," Mae says after being still for a long time. Nelson and Allen both looked at each other in a panic.

"Wait! Don't you dare wreck my car!" Allen yells as he runs out of the room. Eddie smiles then took a pin out of his mouth that he used to hold in place. "It's always a party with that one," Eddie comments. He folded the price of fabric then pushed the pen through it. Mae nods as she tries to move a price of hair out of her face. "She is, we had a rough start when we met," Ashley says, taking a break from the beads.

"We used to fight a few times, then it went to Allen, then I sometimes get annoyed with Libby, then Toby irritates me. PJ also made me frustrated a few times. I've never really talked to Darrel. The only people that don't bite my skin is Mae, Conor, and Nelson," Ashley spoke.
"I can't wait for our fight," Eddie adds.
Both of them lightly laughed.

"I don't mean to be nosy, but what happened between Mae and Nelson?" Eddie asks. He pick up the dress sketch then looked up at Mae.
"I used Nelson to become human, after he got his heartbroken," Mae says. There was no use hiding anything. It was best to be straightforward then to leave Eddie in the dark.
"Then I tried to do it with Penelope, but Mae intercepted. She saved Penelope but we were both sirens," Nelson adds to the story. Eddie nods, he look intrigued by the story.
"We thought Conor was getting hurt because of us but it was Micah using a spell on him," Mae told him. She was starting to get tired from standing for so long. Her posture was more slump and her tone was tired.

"Micah tricked us into making more sirens so we can be human. We didn't want to do it but someone told us it was a trick so in the end we didn't need to do it," Nelson finishes the story.
"So much has happened," Eddie comments.

Eddie decided it was time for them to take a break. He mostly felt bad for Mae standing for a long time. It was also good to have a break once in awhile. He texted Berwald to get them food and help out with the cause. Nelson, Mae, Eddie, and Ashley decided to sit in the island of the kitchen. They had cool lemonade to drink. Mae finally got the large robe off of her. She wore a black tank top and grey shorts, but she put on a orange jacket over it.

"Where did Allen go?" Eddie asks. Nobody paid attention to how long Allen was gone. They were too busy talking and got distracted. "My bet is that he drove Penelope to pick up the clothes," Ashley told them. That was the best assumption they could make. Allen was the type of person that didn't want people to mess with their stuff. It was surprising that he got along with Libby so well.

Berwald eventually made it with some dumplings he bought. He stayed to help them with the dress but he had to leave later to help make the boat. It was hard to juggle both of them and having Eddie down him to get food. Berwald didn't mind, he enjoyed being useful for his friends since his business is slow due to the weather. He liked being active and giving use to his uneventful life. It's uneventful now after the ritual stuff was over.

"Um, Ashley, congrats on the baby. Toby told me about it," Berwald said. Eddie was eating a dumpling but quickly spit it on his plate. "Wait, your pregnant!?" Eddie says, surprise. No one even told the news, he sorta felt left out. Ashley softly smiles before nodding. "That's amazing, are you going to have your wedding soon?" Eddie asks. He doesn't like being nosy but loves to learn more about his friends.

"Right now we are working to get a better house, so we haven't been saving money for our wedding. Maybe when we get a good house and our money situation wasn't that bad," Ashley told him. Ashley and Toby were both having financial problems. Both had to take second jobs to to keep everything settle down. They didn't want to ask their friends for money, it would be a big burden to them. "I fully understand, my shop isn't making good money for me. I live in a small apartment and eat leftover pizza I save for three days," Eddie tells them. Berwald looked up, he was a bit concerned for his friend.

"Would you like to help me out in my shop? We could use an extra hand, mama is having back problems so help would be nice," Berwald spoke up.
"Thanks bud, I'll think about it," Eddie said as he ate his dumpling that he previously spit out. Mae watched as her friends eat, wishing that Berwald got the veggie dumplings. She looked outside towards the patio. The trees were swaying to the window. All the lightweight stuff was put inside so the wind doesn't take them. The weather has been getting stronger lately. She hopes that they have enough time before the tsunami.
