Conor felt the necessity to spend the night with Mae. Not once have they ever shared a bed. It was strange for them. They both face each other but there was little to no touching. Mae was deep in thought and Conor knew what she was thinking about. He couldn't help but also wonder about what would happen to them.

The next few days are going to be eventful. The group had to prepare for the sacrifice. After that, it's only a small chance that nothing bad would happen to Silverfish. But what about when everything goes according to plan. Mae will be gone forever. She hasn't been with them for a long time but she gravely impacted their lives. Conor didn't want to think about finding someone else besides Mae.

"Does this bother you?" Conor asks looking at Mae. She didn't say anything as she just stared ahead of her. The only source of light is from the moonlight between the blinds. It was good enough to see there faces and expressions. "If you don't want to stay like this, I can leave and sleep somewhere else," Conor was afraid that he was making Mae uncomfortable.
"No, we can stay like this," Mae spoke up.

"Sorry, I mean, we've been dating for a long time. Neither of us made any big moves so it's strange to have this big jump," Conor admits. It did make him feel unsettled but he only got a few days to be with her. Conor couldn't have that slow relationship he wants. But he was glad to be in any type of relationship with Mae. She means a lot to him. Her understanding of pain and learning to love again brings them to together. Conor found someone with the same understandings as him.

"Is it alright if we are closer together?" Mae asks him. "Of course, you deserve to have all the love you need," Conor told her.
"So do you," Mae says. Conor couldn't help but smile at her. He gently put his arm around her and settling his hand on her back. Mae let out a small smile as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and pushed herself closer to him. None of them felt awkward about being so close to each other. It was almost homily to them. Conor put his arm under her head then hugged her close to him. He wishes to hold her safely in his arms but knows it won't happen for long.

The next day was windy. It didn't help that they were trying to build a boat on the beach. The nails kept being pushed and sand would occasionally get in there eyes. Toby, PJ, Darrel, Libby, and Conor were working on the boat. It was going to be small but big enough to carry Mae. The beach was mostly empty so it was a great opportunity to start working on the boat. That day was mostly gathering the supplies that are needed.

Most of the wood was scrap from when the construction team had to rebuild the dock twice. There were questions on why they are building a boat but Libby was clever to keep them from being suspicious. She just tells them it is for a project from the band. Saying that it is going to be used for aesthetics or a prop for a photo shoot. The whole lie was actually what Ashley suggested for Libby to tell people. Some credit goes to Ashley for that.

The group was in the warehouse picking up the scraps of wood. It was mostly different colored but that will be painted later on. The boat also had to look good to increase the chances of them succeeding. Toby and Darrel both used there trucks to pile the wood onto it. Everyone pitched in to fill the truck with wood.

"C'mon, baby! Show everyone your muscles aren't for show!" Libby cheered as Darrel picked some more wooden planks. "Don't worry, they don't stand a chance," Darrel laughs as he picked up the wooden planks. He was able to carry them to the back of his truck. "Alright cousin, I'll take that as a challenge!" PJ called out. He stacked a bunch of wood on top of each other then attempted to carry them. It was successful except for the part that PJ's arms kept shaking from god weight.

"At least, Conor and I are civilized. Right, Conor?" Toby smirks at them before looking back at Conor. "Yup," Conor smiles as he carries one small plank. Toby sighs as he playfully shook his head. "Oh, Conor," he responded. The group couldn't help but laugh at each other. Even when there island is at risk, it's still good to share a few more happy moments.

PJ thanked the owner of the warehouse for the free wood. Soon the group was able to go on there way. Darrel and Libby both volunteered to go to a hardware store after unloading the wood. Conor, Toby, and PJ were able to stay on the beach and begin planning on how to construct the boat. As they worked, their other group of friends were working on recreating the clothes of Aphrodite.

Allen was sitting on the counter, sketching a design for the recreation of the dress. He figures that the design needed to be altered for it to suit Mae more. Ashley and Penelope were both in the work room. Nelson was sitting beside Allen and watched as he drew. Ashley was measuring the size of Mae as Penelope wrote everything down.

Penelope yawned as she dropped the notebook onto the table. "Why do we have to start so early?" She said as she rubbed her eyes. "Our time is limited so we need an early start," Ashley told her. Mae stood still, she wore a black tank top and thin shorts. It was best for a more accurate measurement. "Do you think there will be time for me to bid my farewells?" Mae asked them.
"We'll make time, everyone hates the idea of having you gone," Ashley told her.
"You are an amazing friend and roommate, I don't know how I'll move on," Penelope admits. She enjoyed having Mae's company. Penelope truly didn't want to be lonely again.

Ashley gave a light groan as she found a seat. "I'm having nausea right now," Ashley groans as she squeezes her eyes shut. "I'll be back," she told them before getting up. She left the room and went straight for the bathroom. Penelope looked at Mae, she looked concerned. "I'm worried for Ashley. She has been getting sluggish lately and now she has nausea," she said.
"She could be getting sick," Mae suggested. She knew that Ashley would tell them if it was something major. She hoped that Ashley would be alright.

Allen finished the sketch and gave the dress more ruffles. Each ruffle was a darker shade of blue before it ends. Even the sleeves contain ruffles on them. Nelson also suggested on giving Mae a flower headband to match with the dress. "Now that we have the dress design, what do we do now?" Nelson asks.
"We get the sizes from the girls then give this to Eddie," Allen told him.
"Wait, will he know about this?" Nelson questions him.
"Not yet, but we should tell him," Allen admits. It would feel wrong to keep it a secret. Eddie already knows a lot about Sirens and Neptune, it won't make sense to cut him out of the events. Berwald should also know to since he is with them most of the time.
