Penelope sat on the bed brushing her hair. There was a soft knock on the door she then told whoever it is to come in. Pj walked into the room and lightly smiled at her. He spoke, "Are you going to help us find Nelson?"
"That's detectives work and do you really believe that siren crap?" Penelope asked him.
"Mae has no reason to lie to us," Pj told her.
"But there was no reason for you to hate Mae"
"I used to hate Mae, but this is about you"

Penelope stood up from the bed and walked to her vanity. She put her bush in a holder filled with other brushes. "Look, I care about Nelson but there is no way he is a siren" Penelope was straightforward. There was no way Pj could convince her.
"You don't know for sure," Pj said.
"Have you seen a siren?" Penelope asked him.
"No"
"Then sirens don't exist"
"Why are you being dense?" Pj asked. Penelope was separating her hair to put them into two low pigtails.
"Dense? I was just stating facts" Penelope told him.
"They aren't facts if they're false," Pj told her, he was starting to get irritated with her.
"Funny coming from you" Penelope commented.

Pj held back his anger for her until now. She didn't hear him out or even gave him a chance. It bothered him so much. Most of the time he liked her but this is one of the moments where he absolutely hates her. "Y'know, this one of the reasons why I hate you so much. You never listen to and love too much in your little world. Grow up, you are the only person that doesn't care for Nelson!" He almost got close to yelling at her.

Penelope put down her hair tie to look at Pj. She only had one ponytail on. "When did I say I didn't care for Nelson?" Penelope asked him.
"Have you ever heard the saying actions speak larger than words? Anyways, I don't care if you are joining. You're too stuck up and dense to care do us" Pj finally said as he slammed the door shut.

"Well, I hate you too, Pj!" Penelope yelled as she turned her attention to the mirror. Her eyes started to water up as she felt hurt by Pj's words. Did he really not like her?

"That's what happened" Pj sighed as he admitted what happened before the search. No one was mad at Pj, they were disappointed by not handling the situation well. "That must've hurt her" Conor comments. "Wait, would that count as a heartbreak" Toby asked Mae. Her eyes widened as she thought of the worse outcome for her. "We have to find her," she said.

Fawn emerges from the water, catching everyone off guard. "Mae! I found the blond girl!" She told her. "Mar- I mean Nelson has her!" Fawn alerted her. Mae looked back at her friends then at Fawn. "Take me to her," she told Fawn. She didn't say anything before she dived into the water. None of her friends could say anything before she got in the water.

Mae didn't know what would happen to her if she tries to save Penelope. There was no time for her to waste. Mae grabbed Fawn by the shoulders as she rides on her back. She didn't know if she could see them again or will even remember them. It was a sacrifice worth taking for someone who took care of her. Mae's only mission is to save Penelope, there is no time for her to look back at the rest.

In front of Mae, was Penelope and the brown-haired boy kissing. A white sparkling light forms at Penelope's head while it starts at the tail of Nelson. Fawn cut through them to break the kiss. Mae let go of Fawn and grabbed onto Penelope. She has already passed out with the sparkles still forming at her head. She had only one idea that could work but it would be dangerous. Still, she would risk it for her friend.

Mae grabbed onto Penelope's chin and gently kissed her. Her eyes started to get heavy as she stayed strong with the kiss. "W-Wait!" Nelson behind her tried to stop Mae. He didn't grab her or anything, he was verbally trying to stop her. She didn't back down, Mae had to follow through. The only person she could think of is Conor. How would this affect him? Mae hopes that Conor doesn't get hurt by what she was doing. If she could tell him one thing, it would be that she loves him and apologizes for her actions.

Fawn turned around and watched the scene unfold. She started getting closer until a flash of light appeared a whirlpool separated everyone. Fawn was temporarily blinded by the light but she slowly started to swim forward. "Mae? Nelson?" She called, listening for a response. Her vision was still blurring and too out of focus but was able to see figures. Unfortunately, she couldn't find any of the three people.

Pj led the group to the beach in hope that they would eventually wash up there. "Ack!" Conor fell onto the sand clutching her heart. "Conor, what's wrong?" Pj asked as he knelt by Conor's side. He lifted him up to a sitting position, but then the pain stopped. "It's gone," Conor said as he looked up at everyone.
"What do you think that's about?" Toby asked.
"I don't know, but we should find the Mae" Conor said as he stood up. Allen and Toby both helped Conor to his feet. Everyone was frightened and worried for Conor, he never had a heart problem before. Allen decided to move the 'Finding Nelson Mission' to later so they could focus on saving Penelope. Libby was onboard with the idea, she didn't want to lose any of her other friends. Darrel followed along, he wanted to help as much as he can but still left useless.

"What's that in the water?" Darrel asked pointing to a yellow and black thing getting pushed in the waves. Pj slowly took a step towards it until the image was clearer. It was a human and not any other human. It was Penelope wearing her black shirt, getting pushed by the waves. "Penelope!" Pj yelled as he ran towards her. The rest started running behind him but stopping at the water as Pj went to go retrieve her.

Pj picked up Penelope by her arms then dragged her away from the ocean. Ashley got down to check on her. "She's breathing," Ashley said. It looked like she didn't need CPR. She was still completely soaked but other than that it was like she never came from the ocean. Penelope's eyes opened as she looked around at everyone that was staring at her.

"Are you okay?" Pj asked as he helped her to sit up. "Yeah, I think so" Penelope rubbed her head as she sat up. Then she remembered everything that happened to her. She looked around the beach. "Where's Mae?" She asked.
"We don't know, Penelope," Allen said. Penelope looked at Allen confused. "Why did you call me that?" She asked him. Everyone stared at her, confused by her reaction. "That's your name," Pj told her. Penelope closed her eyes trying to recall everything that she knows. "Why can't I remember anything about me?" She asked them.
