Callie started to swim toward the noise. All she can hear were the screams of agony. Fawn, Micah, and the new member Terrence were all somewhere else. She hopes it is not one of them or they've already found the source. Callie did have a hint on who it could be. Bad things happen to people that do bad things. He did do something bad like endanger millions of people and killed a friend. Callie just believes this is all wrong. No one deserves to be harmed mentally and physically at the same time. She wants it to stop but there was nothing for her to do.

Callie swiftly swam to the ocean floor. Scanning the ground, she followed the shrieks of agony. She looked up to see the grey siren laying in the sand. The gills on his hips kept opening and closing. The fins on his arms an back were getting bigger each day. Micah tightly grasp onto a rock. He grit his sharp teeth before looking at the ocean surface. "This has gone too far!" Callie quickly swam to him.

"No, I deserve it," Micah spoke. His eyes were tightly shut. He let out small grunts until a final sigh. His body fell to the sand as it felt loose. "Finally..." he sighs before getting off the sand. "You don't deserve this. Neptune has already done so much to you, he can't keep making it worse," Callie argues. Micah enjoy the fact that he had someone that stuck up for him. That still didn't change the fact of how horrible he feels. Killing a good friend that always had faith in him was a crime that he couldn't forgiven. How was he supposed to know that Brixon would do that? Nothing can change the fact that he was the leading cause of it.

"That's a valid point but murderers don't get a warning," Micah says. He started swimming towards the rock tower. Callie follows close behind him. "It wasn't on purpose. Neptune should know that you did that to make people happy, you wouldn't kill Brixon," Callie told him. Micah stopped at his tracks to face Callie. She was a bit confused by why he was acting so strange. Did he also accuse himself?

"When people are ambitious to achieve one goal they don't think straight," Micah began. He wanted to explain what he was feeling without losing Callie. She always felt forced to hangout with him but she grew to understand him. That was the reason she didn't leave him. Micah didn't want to say anything that would hurt his friendship with Callie. "I wanted Silverfish to turn into a world of sirens, it would make this place feel full and Fawn can finally have some friends. That goal took over me, I wanted to achieve it so bad. That lead me to think it was alright to deceive, hurt, and kill people," Micah turned around. He made his way towards the rock tower again.

"I get it, as sirens we want to be human again. That meant we had to make selfish acts to achieve it. We are forced to ruin someone's life and hurt all that lives them," Callie reflects. She understood that Micah was upset with himself. Callie wanted to point out that Neptune was the reason we are so selfish. Micah shook his head as he kept swimming. Callie followed him, trying to think of something to make him feel better.

"That still doesn't change the fact that I killed Brixon, I deserve to be punished for it," he told her.
"If Brixon was here, he wouldn't be mad at you! He wouldn't want you to suffer like that! Say whatever you want, you don't deserve this and Brixon would agree!" Callie argues. Her calm demeanor was getting nowhere with him. She was angry with him but he just needs some reassurance.

"Callie, you don't understand, I hurt too many people. I use Fawn's kind heart to get what I want. I used Clare's feelings to make her do whatever I say. I physically hurt Mae's lover to make her and Nelson obey my commands. All I care about is being powerful, that can't change," Micah quickly swam away. He didn't want to face Callie anymore. It was still hard for him to look at her. She still saw him as a good and misunderstood person. Micah wanted her to change her mind. The same thing will happen to her as it did to Clare. He already hurt one heart, he doesn't want to do it again. Everything bad that has happened was his fault. Clare will forever be hurt because of Micah and his selfish ideas.

"...then that's when he flew bust the rails," Conor smiled. Mae lightly giggled then got a drink of water. Penelope was cooking lunch and could overheard their conversation. What kind of story is that? She did not understand what was happening with them. "What is wrong with you two?" She asks them.
"Oh, sorry! I forgot that you didn't know our inside joke," Conor quickly apologized.
"It's fine, I find it cute," Penelope admitted. She found it nice to have a relationship like theirs'. Conor got lucky to find her and Mae deserves to be with Conor. It was almost like they were supposed to be together. Almost.

"Y'know, what am I supposed to do with your clothes?" Penelope asks as she sat in the dining room table. She sat next to Mae as Conor was on the opposite side. "You can always wear them," Mae suggests, she smiles knowing well that Penelope would never wear her clothes. Penelope snorted before saying, "I'm too short and curvy to wear clothes from a tall and little less curvy girl." Conor looked between both of them, not sure what to say. He just smiled, enjoying the conversation between them.

The oven began to beep which made Penelope jump from her seat. She pulled on her oven mitten before opening the oven door. The aroma of cookies filled the air. Conor and Mae both became anxious to eat the cookies that were hand made by Penelope. "Wow, those need to cool down," Penelope says before setting it on top of the stove. She took off her glove and set it on the counter. She joins Conor and Mae back at the dining table. "While we wait, let's talk about the party," Penelope insists.

Conor and Mae both had a good idea to share for the party to bring back good memories. It would also allow them to enjoy their time and relive some valuable memories. Mae's siren friends might not get the invitation, she hopes to say goodbye one last time.
