School for the week is now finished and I'm waiting for Kitty outside. Three minutes after I got here she shows up.
"Hey, I got my stuff from my locker."
"Cool, lets go." I say grabbing her arm and start walking to the bus stop.
"Oh Jase!" Kitty shouts over to him. What?
"Hey." He says back when we reach him, this time her dragging me. but wow his voice is so perfect and deep. Oh great, now I'm getting butterflies!
"We just wanted to say thank you for helping us in maths!" Urgg, we did?
Maths was horrendous! Jase sat in front of us and Kitty kept giving me looks. Then I asked Kitty for help doing algebra. She then took the chance to ask Jase to help us, claiming that she apparently didn't know. yeah right! I could see it in her face she knew darn well how to do it.
"Didn't we April?" Kitty now turns to me.
"Errr, yeah thanks." Great! Why did I just stutter? Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!
"You're welcome girls! anytime!" he says flashing that award winning smile.
One of his mates from his group, called Bill, came up to him and nudged him. They then share a look and he turns red. What is up with them?
"Anyway, we have to go. I'll see you around April and Kitty!" Jase shyly smiles and walks in the opposite direction we were originally going in.
It's not like him to be shy! He's one of the most out going people I know. And normally everyone puts Kitty's name first. You could just say that's just how it goes, but she's more popular than me with most people.
When we are out of earshot from the people left in his group kitty speaks.
"I think he likes you too!" she says smiling with pride. she probably fills a bit like a match maker.
"He does not! How'd you figure that one out?"
"He blushes afterwards. You saw him! You blushed even more at that part!" She laughs.
"Well good to know!"
We are now just getting on the horses: me on Emily (As always) and Kitty on Poppy (that she always goes on when she rides).
"So what is that you said? Emily has an angel? Seriously? Are you SURE it wasn't a dream?" she piles on questions for me to answer.
"Yes it's her angel, and IT WASN'T A DREAM!"
"So you actually saw it?" She asks again as we walk the horses into the wood.
"Yes."
"What did it look like?"
"It was wearing a long white dress, she had long fair hair and soft, white, feathery wings."
"And what happened?"
"Well as I said, I saw something go past us but I didn't know what. Then we saw her and Emily went right up to her. Then we started talking."
"Talking about what?"
"Her type of angels, which are guardian angels, and how they're not usually seen. Other types of angels like dark and fallen angels. Then she told me this really sad story about what a dark angel did to this couple centuries ago."
"And what happened?" She asked looking curious.
"Basically in short the dark angel gave the girl depression. Like really bad and she was always cutting and how he would always run home to be with her. That sort of stuff. Then when they were walking in the woods they saw a dark angel. It's powerful screech was loud and harmful. It's possible for that alone to kill you apparently. The. A guardian angel explained about the dark angel to them at home, and how it caused the girls pain. The boy then had no choice but to put an end to it. He went to fight it. The girl was meant to stay at home but at some point she came to the woods. The dark angel almost killed her, it made her pass out. The boy ran over to her and managed to kill the dark angel. He took his girlfriend home in front of the fire. He was injured too of course. She woke up the next morning but he never did. A few days or maybe weeks later, a guardian angel found her covered in blood in her bathroom. She had first cut all over her body and then stabbed herself in the heart."
"Wow!"
"I know, but don't worry, Alice-Lucy said it's very unlikely of that ever happening again. They don't like to be seen but they still cause people pain, stuff like depression and eating disorders a lot of the time."
"That's so sad."
"I know."
When we get back from our hack out in the woods, kitty slumps down on the living room sofa. Did I mention before that it's open plan so it's pretty much connected to the kitchen diner?
I put the pizza's and chips in the oven and set the timer. One is pepperoni and one is margarita. I sit next to Kitty on the sofa and we begin the film. It's a new horror film that Kitty got for her birthday, which was two weeks ago.
When the pizza's and chips are ready we share them out, still watching the film. We then go in my room dab mess around, stay up talking and eventually go to sleep.
