I grab Emily's rains. Where the hell am I meant to go? What am I meant to do? I have to start somewhere so I guess I should start walking forward.
"Dark angels, dark angels, dark angels, dark angels, dark angels." I hear chanting.
I can tell it's coming from this direction so I start running forward. Slowly but surely it starts to get louder as I approach. The sound of their voice makes me shudder and it sound like a couple of them. Great! Just great!
All of a sudden everything goes dark and I can feel the breeze from a dark angel flying over head. They make the weirdest noise ever! It's kind of like cackling. Believe me when I say it sounds like the most twisted thing on earth! Earth? Earth? They're not even meant to be here.
I don't know how I'm meant to beat them. I just know I have to. For me. For Jase. For Kitty. And my family.
Suddenly, I feel sharp claws on my shoulders and I am swooped up into the air. I want to snatch them off. To jump down somehow, but I don't think that would be best right now. It is a very long way down. Then just after these thoughts I see a tree. as we go past it I quickly grab hold of it. This is what you call clinging on for dear life! literally.
I attempt at kicking him off when he try's to pull me back. It's only then that I get a good look of him: black feathery wings sprouting from his shoulder blades. An almost human figure of a man but covered in black ashes. All complete with an face like thunder and that look in his eyes of doom. Like he will tear you to shreds in second like it's long waited for and well earned revenge.
"Get! the fuck! off of me!" I shout as I surprisingly manage to send him falling to the ground. Maybe I might not die! I let some happiness enter my mind. I can tell I'm having false hope but I honestly don't picture myself dying. At them same time though, I heard what Alice-Lucy said. And i'm not stupid.
That angel will be back though. That won't keep him away much longer. I climb up the tree. Finding a branch, I transfer from one tree to another. I'm already feeling tired, this will be a long fight.
